Monday came and I was so stoked to see Jackson again. He hasn't been responding to my texts and I haven't seen him since the party. "Hey Jackson." I said smiling at him. We were in first period together. He seemed different that day, something was definitely off with him. He was wearing a black hoodie under his blazer, which was very weird because he never wears casual clothing with his uniform, he says it doesn't look descent. "Hey." He said with a soft smile but then just proceeded to do his work. Which weird for him, because he always spoke to me during class. I didn't want to bother him during class, so I texted him to meet me by the bleachers during lunch again. He agreed and meet me where we had our first kiss. His hoodie was pulled over his head hiding every piece of his hair. I stepped closer towards him wanting to kiss him, but he stopped me by putting his hands on my chest. "okay now I know there is something wrong." I said very worried. "It's nothing. Stay out my business." Jackson said and stormed away. He was very angry for no good reason and that just made me mad. It's like I painted a picture in my head of this great guy, I really thought he was different...I refused to believe that Jackson Day, the amazing guy that I had met six months ago with a great heart and gentle yet somehow firm touch, has just changed literally overnight. "you guys notice something off about Jackson today?" I asked the rest of the crew in the cafeteria. "He seems kind of dark today. Which is very weird because I assumed, he'd be happy after what happened between you two at the party. By the way that was gross. You did it in my brother's room. Not cool but kind of hot." Anna said smirking. "Yeah sorry about that Anna but you know how it is in the heat of the moment." I told her with a big smile on my face because I thought back to Saturday night. I was still thinking about Jacksons behaviour earlier which just made me question if what we had done that night was the reason...but he was fine afterwards ...more than fine actually, so it had to be something else. "he does seem a bit off today. Did something happen between you two?" Elena asked very concerned. "No, we had an amazing night on Saturday, and I haven't heard from him since...well till today when he totally went off at me for no reason." I told the gang. "Maybe something happened at home." Lincoln said. Perhaps he was right. Maybe he was having some problems at home and since we were whatever we were, I thought it only fitting that I help him through whatever it was. I had to go find him. "Yeah, I'm going to find him and ask. See you guys later." I left the table to go and find Jackson before lunch was over. I saw him going into the boy's bathroom, so I followed him in. I needed to speak to him alone, so I told everyone to get out. "Scram you guys." I shouted and hit on one of the bathroom stalls door. The boys quickly left, and Jackson just stared at me and grinned. "So...what's really going on, because I know for sure it was not anything I did." I asked Jackson. He didn't answer. He walked closer to me, and he backed me up against the bathroom door. He reached behind me and locked the door. His body moved closer to mine, so close I could feel his heartbeat on my chest.
