After that my father lost all sense in living so he went after Nikolaj and took out a few of his best fighters and nearly destroyed Nikolaj, but I stopped him from doing something he might have regretted. We moved here to Midvale to get away from him, but it didn’t last. When I left weeks ago, we had gotten word from a trusted friend that he was coming to finish the fight my father started with him. To protect me, my father decided that we should do like him and my mother and run. Didn’t work, clearly. Uncle Nikolaj tracked us down and…my father was killed by the hand of the great Nikolaj, he killed my father right in front of me. Nikolaj had a son, Xhavier. In the battle of Nikolaj and my father, Niklaus, Xhavier attacked me. I didn’t have a choice but to fight back. He didn’t know that I was a hybrid, which by name means that I am both species, vampire and werewolf. It also meant that I was stronger than him. He made a wrong move which resulted in him being accidently killed by me. My uncle didn’t think it fair that I killed his son and he only killed my entire family including his own brother. So now his after me too. I swear I did not want to kill my own cousin not even hurt him, but he gave me no other choice. I came here to tell you the truth and to tell you that I missed you unconditionally and I haven’t stopped thinking about you since our last kiss. I also wanted to tell you that I love you in case I suffer the same fate as the rest of my family did. Okay I’m done speaking.” I just sat there…baffled and overwhelmed by everything he had just said. I remember thinking, did he just say he was both vampire and werewolf? I was dating a hybrid. Something I have only ever read about. How fucking awesome. “Uhm, that was so much information all at once. And all of this is true?” I asked. “Unless you don’t believe that I love you.” He said. “Don’t be snarky. So where is your uncle now?” I said as I stood up. “His in town. Looking for me. I barely made it here without him catching me, but I had to risk it.”
