Chapter 2

During the days that Taehyung's heat lasted, the young omega created a perfect schedule that kept him away from home as long as possible. As much as he loved his friends, it was frustrating having to hear them fucking nonstop while he tried to sleep.

Staying busy all the time, along with activities that would leave you exhausted, was the key to getting home tired enough that your body disconnected the moment you touched the sheets.

It wasn't a difficult task, and Hoseok took it upon himself to help him with an extra shot of physical exercise with his dance classes, and a couple of outings with his closest friends: Seokjin, a beta like Hoseok, and Namjoon, an alpha.

Jungkook had heard the beta talk about them. Hoseok and Namjoon met at the university, in the university library, to be more precise.

Namjoon tried to find peace and quiet to write without interruptions and Hoseok to try to pass the rest of the subjects that did not have to do with dance.

After meeting several times, and seeing the suffering of the beta, Namjoon offered to help him. From there, they grew closer to the point of becoming good friends almost without realizing it. And when Namjoon and Seokjin started dating, it was normal for Hoseok to end up meeting him too.

"It took like three years before they joined, but right from the beginning they were like a couple who had been married for twenty years." Hoseok once commented in a whisper for only Jungkook to hear.

"I can hear you, Hoseokie." Seokjin crooned as he turned his gaze to Hoseok, trying to be intimidating. The dancer just snorted.

"What? It's not like it's a lie. "

"We just wanted to take things slowly and be sure of every step, you know that." Namjoon reminded him calmly, a small smile playing across his face at the image of his partner showing his tongue to Hoseok. The latter, for his part, returned the gesture.

"Come on, Joon. It was obvious what was between you. Hyung looked at you like you were edible, and you followed him around like it was your only purpose in the world."

“Sorry, but it's not my fault that my beauty and great sense of humor captivated him to that point. It's understandable that with a couple of minutes by my side I wouldn't have enough. And for your information,” Seokjin added with a raised eyebrow, “Joonie is edible. ”

"Oh my God, it's already starting." Hoseok complained as Jungkook couldn't help but choke on the smoothie he was drinking.

"Look what you've done, you've sullied poor Jungkook's innocence." Hoseok said as he tapped her on the back.

“It just took me by surprise. Jimin hyung is worse." The young man assured. "Don't trust his angelic and innocent face, hyung."

"Is there someone else like me?" Seokjin asked excitedly. “Hoseokie, you must not hide this type of information. When can we meet him? Is that Jimin the same one who works with you? "

"Jin, relax honey." Namjoon whispered as he put his hand on the back of the beta's neck.

"That's right, hyung. Jimin is my partner at the academy. He's going to be helping his partner for a couple of days, so you'll have to wait a little longer. "

“Okay, well for next time we will meet at my restaurant. What do you think?"

After agreeing that it would be a good idea, the four of them kept talking about different topics, such as the mystery novel that Namjoon was about to publish, or the new changes that Seokjin wanted to make to the menu and the restaurant. And unsurprisingly, the two betas started talking animatedly and messing with each other, enjoying the responses they came up with.

After looking at them for a moment, Namjoon turned to Jungkook and started asking him the things that interested him.

Namjoon was a good alpha, or so it seemed to Jungkook. He was calm and not trying to be the center of attention, quite the opposite. They both liked photography, although Namjoon was more of the contemplative type and drew inspiration from them for his stories, while Jungkook told a story through them.
