Chapter 5

In the end the prognosis turned out to be true.

Jungkook was taking a few pictures around the park when it started to rain out of nowhere, with all the force in the world and with the sky still clear. It was a great view in front of him, with the sunlight reflecting off the water and making everything around him sparkle, but the force of the rain prevented him from taking more photos. That, and that Yoongi was already pulling him to go somewhere to shelter from the downpour.

"For once he gets it right..." Jungkook sighed in disappointment.

The two of them stood under the cover of the rain for a while, waiting for it to stop, but it seemed that the more time passed, the greater the intensity. After hearing thunder roar in the distance, they both decided it was better to be home.

And so the two ended up drenched and out of air from running through the rain to get to Yoongi's house.

Due to the frequency with which he traveled, Jungkook thought that when Yoongi came to visit he would stay at Hoseok's house, but apparently the alpha had a small apartment not far from where his brother lived. The walls were white and the furniture was sparse, but it made sense if Yoongi lived alone.

In any case, the lack of furniture was compensated by the abundant decoration on each surface, giving it a more personal and homey touch.

While Jungkook was in the classroom drying his hair with a towel, he sent a message to Taehyung telling him that he was at Yoongi's house, taking advantage of the fact that the alpha was taking a shower. "I told you. Don't let him get away, Kookie" was his friend's reply.

Jungkook rolled his eyes as he tried not to turn red. The alpha had lent him some clothes to change into, and Jungkook was surprised to see that they fit him well. Apparently Yoongi liked to wear baggy clothes when he was at home. The young omega barely resisted putting the cloth against his nose and choking on the scent of the alpha. He didn't smell exactly like him, but Jungkook could smell his scent between the layers of detergent and fabric softener that permeated the fabric.

Some time later, the two were sitting on the couch watching a movie on the computer, as the storm had blocked the signal from the antenna. The only source of light came from the fire in the fireplace in front of them and the glow from the computer screen. Everything else was dark, as was the sky outside, and the only sounds were thunder. Even the constant whipping of the wind didn't shake the windows, creating a quiet atmosphere inside, except for the movie they were watching.

Jungkook wasn't paying much attention to the plot; his attention was more focused on the body beside him. The two were wrapped in the same blanket, and between the warmth of the chocolate they had taken, the fire in the fireplace and the warmth of their bodies, Jungkook was about to melt with pleasure. Yoongi's fragrance was more intense due to the heat and the closeness of their bodies, and Jungkook hadn't been able to help getting closer and closer until the two were completely glued together, as if they were one. The temptation to brush his nose against Yoongi's neck was enormous, but the omega refrained from doing such a thing.

Although their first encounter was purely sexual, what they had now was something else, although neither knew the exact name.

When the movie came to an end, Jungkook uncovered himself to go over to the laptop, which was on the coffee table, and turn it off. He had seen that Yoongi had his eyes closed and his breathing was calm, so it was not worth seeing anything else on his own. He preferred to stay next to the alpha, snuggled next to him and under the cover of the blanket, enjoying his presence. Suddenly a hand slid down his back, making Jungkook wince slightly.

"I thought you were asleep." Jungkook whispered after recovering from his surprise, feeling the warmth of Yoongi's hand through his clothing.

"I was. But I didn't feel you by my side and I woke up." Yoongi said as he continued stroking her back, sinking his fingers in the places where he needed it most.

"I see you don't want to lose sight of me." The omega said with a lopsided smile once he knew that his voice was not going to betray him and let out a groan.

"Once was enough, I have no intention of doing it again." The alpha assured him as Jungkook returned to his previous position by his side, the two facing each other. In this way the omega could appreciate the love and desire that shone in equal parts in the alpha's eyes.

However, Yoongi did nothing to approach Jungkook and kiss him, just as it was written in his gaze. At that moment Jungkook remembered the conversation he had had with his hyungs, and decided that it was time to move this between the two of them forward.

Where to, Jungkook did not know, he could only hope it would go towards the possibility of being together, but for that he had to take a risk and ask first.

The problem was, Jungkook had too many questions and he didn't know where to start or how to ask them. How did he tell hi. that he wanted him to be by his side when his next heat came? Or that he wanted them to be boyfriends, long before he knew who he was and he was dedicated. How did he tell him that his wolf wanted him to claim him, to mark him so everyone would know he belonged to him? Because what Jungkook and his wolf felt for the alpha went beyond the physical plane, and he wasn't sure his words could convince Yoongi that he wasn't with him out of interest. He wanted all that and more with the alpha, but he didn't know how to ask for it or in what order to do it.

"Are you serious?"

"Of course." Yoongi told him while looking into his eyes, his gaze calm and sincere.

"So what are we from now on?"

"Whatever you want, Jungkook."

Jungkook bit his lower lip, because the offer was so tempting, and because he didn't expect to have Yoongi so accommodating to him. “I may ask too much, hyung. It may be too selfish. "

"And I may want to give it all to you, Jungkook." The alpha said as he searched for his hand under the blanket that covered them and intertwined their fingers.

"Yoongi, I—"

“The night we met,” the alpha interrupted, “was something special. I've never been one of those who change my omega every time I go into heat; in fact, I try to pass them alone. I know it's biological, but every time I was with someone during heat, it was all too mechanical and cold and empty. I couldn't bear that feeling, so I decided to stay alone during those moments. And then you showed up." Yoongi said with a smile as he caressed his cheek with his other hand, looking at the brightness of his brown eyes and memorizing the moles that adorned her face.

“I wasn't even thinking about sleeping with someone that night, I just wanted a change of scenery for the night, you know, to do something I wouldn't normally do. When I saw you, I knew you were different, you caught my attention without knowing it, and before I knew it, my wolf had already made the decision to approach, he already knew that he wanted you for himself. The initial impulse may have been purely sexual and driven by desire, but at the end of the night I didn't want to leave you, I didn't want to leave without you."

"I was going through the same thing too, hyung." Jungkook whispered to him despite the lump that had formed in his throat. “I couldn't get you out of my mind for a long time. To be honest, I didn't want to forget you, because that would have been like erasing what had happened that night. I knew you weren't coming back, so I tried to suppress those feelings, but my wolf refused and called for you. It was really hard being in heat and knowing that nothing was enough, that nothing and no one could calm me down unless it was you." The omega confessed as he closed his eyes and leaned his face against Yoongi's hand, kissing the palm of his hand lovingly.

“I'm so sorry you had to go through that, Kookie. I promise you that this time I will not disappear." He promised the alpha.

Suddenly, Jungkook opened his eyes and sat up on the couch, looking at Yoongi intensely. "Hyung, can I kiss you?"
