Though she was only at the house for a little over a week, Eden had gotten used to waking up to the smell of food and the feeling of a hand on her shoulder, shaking her to rouse her from her sleep.

So waking up to the smell of hospital was definitely a shock.

Her lips were dry and her bones were stiff as a board. The bed she was in was hard and scratchy, nothing like the comforting memory foam of the bedroom she had slept in the past week. She fought hard to open her eyes against the bright light of the room. Her vision was blurry, but from what she could see, she was definitely in some sort of medical facility.

Eden started to panic. Were the past few days just a comatose dream?

She blinked as she struggled to sit up, trying to bring her eyes into focus so she could figure out where she was. Across the room she could see a man seated in a chair, focused on the door like he was a guard. His back was towards her, but he had remarkable posture. He sat with an aura of importance that made her knees cold.

Still, she fought against her anxieties and cleared her throat, hoping to gain the man's attention.

"Um, excuse me," she croaked hoarsely. The man whipped around and shot out of his seat, obviously startled by the sound of her voice.

Now that she had a good look at him, she could tell he was barely older than her. His eyes held an air of innocence that reminded her far too much of Jungkook. The two held awkward eye contact for a bit, neither of them knowing what to say. Eden cleared her throat again.

"Uh, do you think you can tell me where I am?"

The strange boy in front of her opened his mouth to say something, but closed it again. Instead, he turned on his heels and stepped quickly out of the room.

"Hey! Wait a minute!"

The door closed sharply, cutting Eden off mid-sentence.

She sighed in the bed, pinching the bridge of her nose in frustration. Now she was alone, and even more confused than before. She wished she had her phone, but even if she did, she didn't know any of the boys' numbers. There was never a reason too— she was always with one of them.

Eden sat up fully and took a moment to look around the room at her surroundings. There wasn't much, just the bed she was on, a couple chairs, and a small table with a few plates on it that must've been meals. She meshed her brows together as she counted the plates.

2...3...4?! How long was I out??

The room had no windows, so there was no way to check what time of day it was. Anxiety worked its way through her body and she bit her lip, trying to calm down so she could think rationally. She was alive—the aching in her back definitely didn't let her think otherwise— and she at least was somewhere where they gave her medical attention. Her cold seemed to have disappeared too.

She paused. The cold wasn't a normal cold, it only would've gone away once Yoongi came back.

Does that mean—

The door to the room swung open. The boy from before stepped through, holding it from the inside for the person behind him to come in. Eden's breath caught in her throat as she watched them step through, hoping and pleading that it was a familiar face.

"You can leave now, Junseo," a familiar voice grumbled.

"But I'm supposed to—"

"Did I stutter?"

The younger boy— Junseo, apparently— closed his mouth and nodded quickly, waiting until Yoongi was fully through the door before stepping out and closing the door behind him.
