Good to be back

I stayed quiet as we walked to school.

"I think I really did go back in time, is this my chance?" I whispered

"Chance?" I jumped a bit, I turned my head and my eyes widened, his lips what literally an inch away from mine, I feel my face burning up, I step back a bit and chuckled

"What do you mean chance?" Elliot ask me while putting his arm around my shoulders, my face still burning up.

Margaret your 28!! stop acting like a love sick teen, we need to find a way to go back!!

I shake my head "hey Elliot, what's the date?" I try to change the subject and just wanted to clarify.

He raised an eyebrow "Monday"

"No I meant the date, what year is it?" I could see his confusion growing

"Are you okay marge? First the way you acted earlier, your asking what year it is and your calling me Elliot, your not Marge your her in the future and you time travelled back in time! " he jokingly said, my eyes widened but I softened it right away and just laughed it off

"Elli, are YOU okay?" I said while poking him in the stomach

"So Marge are you ready for the test?" My eyes widened I haven't been in school for years! What subject is it!? Maybe I can't ask him because he will be more suspicious

"I forgot to study" I look down "Yeah I'm gonna fail" I said while trying to be sad

"What! it's history? You love history, Even if you didn't study, I'm pretty sure you ain't gonna fail"

"I was just kidding, I'm just a bit nervous" I laughed awkwardly

"You? nervous? About a test?" He laughs at me "Marge, did you forget the first time we met?"

"I know I know, but still I just have a bad feeling" I sighed and closed my eyes

I felt something, "you can do it Marge" I felt a tingling sensation behind my ear. I opened my eyes and I felt Elliotts embrace. I couldn't help it.

I push away and faced him, his face confused of what's happening.

"Elliot, I miss you" I said and pulled him to my arms. I embrace him tightly like my life depends on it, please don't disappear, please don't be a dream!

I hear him laugh

"I miss you too, even though we called each other yesterday" I pulled away and wiped my tears

I looked around and saw no one was here

"Okay let's go" I held out my hand and smiled.

He grabs my hand

"Lego" I laughed and started running.

We ran to school while holding hands.

As we arrive, I saw three very familiar, I didn't bother checking again because Edward and I were still out of breath

Suddenly I heard someone clear their voice, I jumped a bit and look up. I felt my eyes getting teary

"Kylie...Matteo...Yosef?" I look at them and couldn't get help but get teary

Everything got blurry but I knew what their expressions were but I don't care, in my time, we slowly lost touch after what happened and I just really missed them. I straightened myself and hugged them tightly.

"Umm Marge? Are you okay?" Yosef laughed

"I just missed you guys" I gave them a squeeze. I can't believe it, I get to see them again.

Kylie left Philippines to go to Paris to be a fashion designer and now she is, I saw her outfits in vogue, VOGUE, an international magazine! Matteo left also to become a chef in Italy, his restaurants are big, I've seen them in social media. Yosef made one of the biggest firms in Amsterdam. His basically almost a billionaire. While I'm stuck in the past literally and metaphorically....

"Marge, we miss you too" Matteo laughed. I look at them again and smiled.

I pulled away "okay LEGO, don't want to be late"

We walk to our class, I couldn't help but look at my wonderful friends.

"Marge I saw that earlier" I turned my head to Kylie, I gave her a confused expression, what does she.... I look at my hand and smiled. "Oh Marge" I heard her laugh.
