Chapter 18- The potion

Jame's POV

My alarm clock went off. I groaned and rolled over to stop it. But Sirius decided to throw a shoe at the clock. "SIRIUS!" I yelled. "It was getting annoying!" He groaned.

I sat up and stumbled out of bed. I went into the bathroom to get ready. When I walked out I saw Sirius still sleeping, Remus reading, And Peter drawing something. "Bathrooms open!" I announced.

Sirius jumped out of bed. "Thanks mate." He thanked me running into the bathroom. Once everyone was ready we all went downstairs. I saw Mallori and Sienna talking by the fireplace.

"You guys finally Ready?!" Mallori angrily asked. We all nodded our heads in fear. "Good lets go." She said, Her tone completely changed.

We all walked out the Gryffindor tower to the great hall. Once we got there We all sat down. Mallori grabbed some bread, And Sirius took the whole bowl of pancakes.

"Hey!" Mallori yelled in annoyance. "A living boys got to eat." Sirius sighed. Mallori just mumbled to herself. After what felt like forever everyone was done eating.

"What's your guys first class?" I asked. "Potions." Everyone sighed. We walked to the potions class. "Good morning everyone!" Slughron happily said. The class just mumbled some good mornings.

"We all know you don't learn about the Amortentia potion until sixth year," Slughorn said, "But who ever brews the best Draught of Peace potion will get a batch." Everyone's face lit up.

"Starting now!" Slughorn yelled. Everyone scrambled around the room to look for ingredients. "How is your potion going?" Sienna asked me. "Well," I said looking down at my bubbling potion, "Not the best."

I looked over at Sienna's cauldron. The potion looked perfect. "Woah Sienna thats good!" I exclaimed. Her cheeks became rosy red. "You should show professor slughorn." I said. She nodded her head and raised her hand.

"Well Miss Black I would say you made the best potion yet!" Slughorn exclaimed. Everyone slowly clapped their hands. "Here you are Miss Black." Slughorn said. He handed her a tiny pink vile.

Sienna's POV

Classes flew by today. I hid my potion Slughorn gave me under my bed. I don't trust anyone with it. My last class was well a free period. Since I had double charms.

I skipped back to the Gryffindor common room. I walked inside to see all my friends. I sat down on the couch in between James and Sirius. "Sienna can we smell the Amortentia potion please!" Mallori begged.

"Oh alright." I said walking up tp my dorm. I reached underneath my bed and grabbed it. I walked back down and sat back down. "Who wants to smell it fist?"I asked. Everyone looked around the room

"Oh jeez I will." Mallori sighed. I opened the bottle and let her come near. She took a big sniff. She closed her eyes and thought for a moment. Her cheeks became rosy red.

"Well.." I asked curious. "Oh um no one." She mumbled sitting back down. "How about you smell it," James said, "You are the one who earned it." I nodded my head and took a sniff.

Chocolate chip cookies? Definitely home made. Butterbeer? Strange. I took another big whiff. Broomstick. Like wood kinda. I finally came to realization as to who it was. I put the cap back on the bottle.

"That's enough love for one day." I said. Everyone groaned and sighed. "Anyone want to go to the library with me?" I asked. Remus and Mallori stood up. "Great lets go." I said skipping away. Mallori and remus followed me. I need to tell somebody who I smelled. And it cant be my brother.
