"Yeah, we are!" Skeppy responds happily.

"The seventeenth?"

"On my birthday."

"Huh."

Silence. It's insanely awkward in this discord channel.

"Dream?" I chime in. He hums in response. "Do.. Do you not want us to meet up?"

"What? No—I just—um," he pauses after his stutters, "I'll be leaving the call." He does as he says.

Me and Zak are stuck in this silent channel, our two names, lonely.

"Do you want to reschedule?" He asks.

"Yeah, maybe during the summer, like June or something, and maybe my place instead," I propose.

"I could bring you to a pride," I drag out the vowels, quietly, with an audible smile.

"That would be great."

"It's settled, we meet up in June. See you later Zak," I smile to myself. At least this time we've got plans.

"Before you leave, could I ask you for a favour?"

"Anything, Skep."

"Check on him," Skeppy pauses, "we aren't super close like you two are. Dream was acting weird. It's concerning."

"Will do. I'm glad I'm not insane, I was thinking the same thing," I manage to mumble out. We leave the call.

I look at his contact. Just then, I realize, I only know half of his name, maybe even less. I call him up.

"Hey Y/N."

"Hi, Clay."
He scoffed.

"Oh god, warn me next time you do that," He said with a dry laugh.

"Do what?"

"Call me Clay."

"Bud, you gave me the Clay pass," I say cutting myself off. "Speaking of your name, Imagine you, having the most generic white boy name after, maybe Brian, having a last name that wasn't Evans, or something equally as white."

"Are you calling me extra white?"

"Yes, comfort cracker, I'm calling you 'extra white',"

"Oh, come on now."
