Well, when I said that none of my friends have seen my face, I technically wasn't lying. George has never been my friend. We were either more, or less.

"Sure." I responded to Dream. I have no idea what he thinks about it. About what I did.

"Well, for starters, it would have been nice to know that you two were together at one point."

"Would it?"

"Maybe.."

"Why?" We stay silent. I look through my window, the pouring rain outside will make this moment unforgettable.

Heavy droplets hit the glass pane as the night sky gets darker. The CN Tower is the only thing lighting up the city. It reminds me of Dream in a way. He lightens up the mood whenever me and George are at each others throats. I like that he can somehow take both out minds off of our past mistakes. Its an amazing quality to have.
Dream decides to speak up.

"I think-I think knowing how you two met and why you dislike each other so much was something important." He pauses. "I also find it important to know if you think you wronged him in any way."
I sigh.
"I have wronged him, cheating is a bad thing. I think I've refined myself since then, though. I'm definitely a better person now."
I feel like I'm getting interviewed by an officer. Except, this officer hasn't shown me his face, and has a voice like no other.

His voice is—it's powerful. I don't think he's ever realized how his voice impacts others. How it impacts me.

"It's a douche move, don't you think?" He asks.
"Are you trying to lecture me?"
"What—no—why would I-" I let out a small chuckle. He didn't have a plan, did he?
"It's fine. Lecture me. This could be some awesome roleplay." That came out flirty, oops?
"wHAT?" Dream and I both break into laughing fits.

We continue talking as the night goes on.

"How do you deal with that?" Dream asks.
"Like, how do you stream with him after all of that, him cheating on you in return and then ghosting you?"

"Sometimes, bigger audiences call for acting since, people are attracted to the things they could never have. People are attracted to perfection. The perfect friendship, the perfect partner, the perfect body, perfect grades.. The list goes on."
I want to add on but, I think Dream has something to say.

"No shit, but like, this can't just be a cash-grab. You can't be faking all that for the views." He sounds like he's stumped. Stumped trying to figure out my actions.

"It's because—well—because I don't want to be a burden.." I take a long sigh. "I don't want to drag others down with my stupid first-world problems."

"Oh so let me guess, you don't see a therapist do you?"
"I do not."
"You should, they help with these types of things."
"Yes, Dream, I'm very aware."

"Call me Clay."
