So far, the party was going great. Sure, it was a lot tamer than what Gilbert is normally used to, but it's for his baby brother's birthday, and he wouldn't want to make Ludwig uncomfortable or anything. At least Halloween is practically in a month. Then Gilbert can plan something huge.
The albino wandered around his house, greeting random guests. He had told Feliciano to go around inviting the people that he knew Ludwig was friendly with. Unshockingly, there were not that many. But among the few that were there, Gilbert had only met about five prior.
"Oh hey specs! I didn't think that you'd actually stay around for the party!" Gilbert shouted as he walked over to a tired Roderich.
"Well, of course I would. Ludwig is one of the nicest people I have ever met." But at this point, Roderich was wishing that he hadn't. This party was too boring. Going to a different school than everyone else in attendance did have its drawbacks.
"It's sad y'know... Seeing your baby brother all growns up..." Gilbert sighed, wiping away a fake tear.
Roderich rolled his eyes. "You do know you're only a year older than him, right? Stop overreacting."
"You're an only-child, you just don't understand!" Gilbert wailed.
"What's he whining about now?" Elizaveta said walking over to the two. She handed Gilbert a glass of blue raspberry soda, as she drank her own.
"Just something stupid. Wait a minute... Do I know you from somewhere?" Roderich pondered, studying the girl next to him. Elizaveta did the same and furrowed her eyebrows, "Hmmm... You look familiar too... Does the name Liza ring a bell?"
The brunet shook his head. "Nope. Not at all. How about Roderich?"
"Roderich... No. Great, I know I've seen you somewhere before! This is gonna bother me the whole night." Elizaveta groaned.
"Well at least that gives you something to do..." Roderich chuckled, gaining a laugh from the girl next to him.
"Something to do? What is that supposed to mean?" Gilbert said, eyebrows raised.
The two other teens exchanged glances. Elizaveta sighed, "Gil, I hate to break it to ya, but this party literally sucks ass. Like, there's nothing to do at all. It's worse than the time you took me and Francis to Mrs. Ulrike's classroom to play Christmas bingo. In May."
The albino gave his girlfriend a hurt look. "I thought you liked the bingo! You won two fun-size Hershey Bars!" Gilbert sighed. He knew that Elizaveta was right. Even he, himself was bored at this party. But it wasn't his fault! It's Ludwig's fault for being such a reserved person and having such dull friends. That Greek dude who does nothing but sleep 24/7? That Japanese boy who won't take his eyes off some online doujin? LA-AME!
"Look Liza, if you think this party needs something to spice it up, then show me what you've got. Cause I'm fresh outta ideas." Gilbert suggested.
Elizaveta thought for a moment as she drank the last of her soda. What could make this lame-ass party more interesting...? The brunette looked around the room for ideas. Her eyes soon traveled down to the empty glass bottle she had in her hand. She'd seen enough movies to know the direction she was going towards.
"Time to play spin the bottle!" She shouted as she pulled the two boys next to her into the living room.
Few people sprinted out of the room and into the nearest bedroom, or bathroom. Meanwhile, Heracles was asleep underneath the coffee table. "Okay guys! If you're not a pussy, then sit in the circle and join the game!"
