What I like doing is putting on my headphones, turning volume up and singing. That's what I was doing, when the music suddenly stopped.
I was getting a call. From an unknown number. And it was a landline phone number.
I thought to myself: "Who's dumb enough to call me from a landline phone to my cell? Everyone knows it's much more expensive." And then I answered.
"Good afternoon, we're calling about your X Factor application."
Probably spoke to soon.
"Just so you know, this conversation is recorded. Can you just tell me your last name and DOB?"
"Yeah, sure, Perić, and I was born on 18.07.1997."
"Just one more question - is it easier for you to come to pre-audition in Belgrade or Novi Sad?"
"Belgrade", of course.
"You should come on 14.02. at 9am, at the Kombank arena. Thanks for your time. Have a good day."
So now I have a day more? And I'm spending Saturday over there? Not what I was hoping for, but either way, still looking forward to it.
So I hung out with Anastasia, and we talked about the X Factor (what a shocker). We came to an idea that my list of songs looks like this: 2 domestic songs, 2 foreign songs, and a rap song.
I've chosen the foreign ones. The first one will be Let Me Love You by Mario. And the second one - She's like the wind by Maliq. I wanted to sing All Of Me by John Legend, but then I found out that the song is the most sang song during the first 2 days of pre-auditions! Which means I won't be so original - which is not my goal.
The domestic ones will be hard to choose, and for the rap song - either Ispod by Marčelo (domestic) or Mockingbird by Eminem (foreign).
That's pretty much it, speaking of the songs.
We've had a rehearsal of that big play (further in the text: Kolubara), and it lasted twice longer than it should've. 2 hours.
And then immediately after that I went to a celebration - birth of my aunt. I know right? Imagine being nearly 18 and getting an aunt. Mind fuck.
Anyway, I'm starting to realize that maybe I'm rushing things, maybe I'm just trying to do many things till each of the deadlines. I'm tired more and more everyday.
I'll be lucky enough if I don't fall asleep in the middle of the street, faceplanting the asphalt.
