Saturday morning, cool winds took over the city as the sun began to rise. Cody and Kota had fallen asleep after being locked in the basement of the library all night long. Cody was laying on his side with his right hand curled up under his head, using it as a pillow. His left hand was extended toward's Kota, who had his own right hand extended as well. The two were inches away from touching hands. As the sun began to pierce in through the windows, Kota slowly started to wake up. It took him a moment to remember where he was before he saw his hand nearly touching Cody's. He expected himself to immediately pull it away but he didn't. Instead, he laid there for a moment, just watching Cody sleep. It wasn't long until Cody himself started to wake up. He slowly opened his eyes to find Kota watching him.

"Well that's not creepy at all." Cody mumbled.

"You drool in your sleep." Kota told him.

Cody furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

"No. No I don't." Cody said as he sat up in a panic.

Kota sat up too, motioning to the wet spot on the floor.

"That was already there when I fell asleep." Cody said as he got up.

Kota let out a small laugh to himself and followed Cody in getting up. Cody watched him for a moment, admiring his messy hair.

"What?" Kota asked.

"You should come to the party at my house tonight." Cody said suddenly.

Kota gave a curious look.

"Your house?" Kota asked.

"Yeah.. You know I can't mess with your friends so just come and have a good time." Cody told him.

Kota looked at him with a smile almost on his face. That's when Cody looked down at his phone and replied to a text message.

"I thought your phone was dead?" Kota asked in confusion.

Cody looked over at Kota with a guilty smirk.

"Are you crazy? Why would you lie? We've been stuck down here all night!" Kota yelled at him.

Cody watched him for a moment before responding.

"Maybe I just wanted to spend time with you.." Cody told him.

Kota let out a scoff.

"And besides, you're the one that made a few calls and gave up. You could have reached someone if you wanted. Hell, you could have called the police to help us. But you didn't.. Why's that, Kota?" Cody asked as he got closer to him.

Kota looked into Cody's eyes as they stood face to face. Cody felt his heart pounding in his chest as Kota began to blush.

"You're so full of yourself." Kota told him, in attempt to stop whatever was about to happen.

Cody glanced down at Kota's lips for a moment. That's when they were interrupted by someone opening the basement door. Kota let out a sigh of relief and began gathering his things. COdy let out a sigh of disappointment as Kota began making his way upstairs.

"Oh my! Have you boys been down here all night?" The librarian asked.

"Unfortunately." Kota told her.

Cody followed up the stairs and walked out of the library not long after Kota. He fixed his coat as his driver opened his door for him.

"I'll see you tonight?" Cody asked.

Kota looked at him with concern in his eyes. Cody let out another smirk and got in the car. Kota stood there and watched as Cody's car drove off.
