The New Girl: Chapter 6

Friday at Maryse's house, the song "Pretty Girl" by Sugarcult was playing as people gathered for the big party. Dean walked into the party and saw Carmella standing outside by herself with a beer in her hand.

Carmella watched uncomfortably as Roman laughed along with some guys from the from the wrestling team.

That he kisses you

Dean recognized the lonely look on Carmella's face from all the times she sat alone in elementary school.

Carmella took a sip of her beer as Roman glanced over at Peyton and winked.

That he makes you fall in love

"Dean!" Renee yelled as she stumbled over to him.

"Wow. It looks like someone got an early start on the drinking." Dean laughed.

Renee smiled and ran her hand down his arm.

"I never realized how cute you are.." Renee mumbled.

Dean looked her up and down for a moment.

"Maybe because you were never looking at me." Dean whispered to her as he took noticed of Seth talking to a group of girls.

Renee looked back at Seth with blurred vision. The grin on her face had quickly faded away.

"Come on, let's go outside." Dean told her.

Renee followed him outside as they approached Carmella.

"Ew. Who invited you, scrub?" Carmella asked.

Dean shook his head at Carmella's rudeness.

"I invited him." Renee told her.

Carmella rolled her eyes at Renee and took a sip of her beer. Roman looked across the party at Dean who was now staring a whole through him.

"What the fuck is his problem?" Cody asked as Sasha took notice of Becky making her way into the party.

"Let's just lay off tonight, all right?" Kenny tried to say.

"I'm going to go grab a beer." Sasha said as she walked away.

Cody looked inside as Sasha walked in and saw Becky with Kota and Alexa.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" Cody asked.

Miz looked in at Alexa for a moment.

"I hope it's okay that I invited them?" Maryse asked Cody.

Miz let out a small laugh at his girlfriend.

Seth looked up from the group of girls surrounding him and smiled at Becky. She gave him a smirk in turn as Sasha approached her.

"You want a drink?" Sasha asked Alexa.

Becky, Kota and Alexa al looked at Sasha in surprise.

"Come on." Sasha said as she nodded to Kota.

Alexa and Kota followed Sasha over and they all shared a drink. Becky watched from across the party for a moment.

"Those pink tips really suit you." Sasha complimented Alexa.

"Thank you." Alexa said awkwardly.

Sasha looked over and saw Kota giving her a skeptical look.

"I'm sorry for being an asshole all these years." Sasha suddenly told Alexa.
