Hey! First of all, sorry for literally not updating for months here on Wattpad. Oopsie.

Secondly, I've a few fics on AO3 (they're all Marauders fics because I'm obsessed) if you want to check those out! Those are mainly the reason I've been so quiet here. My username is FanniAlak on there so definitely give them a read if you're interested. :) (You don't need to be registered on AO3 to read them.)

That's all, enjoy this new chapter of The Heart Of A Lion! <3

Charlie wasn't there when Imogen woke up. She sat up, squinting against the rays of early morning sunshine. His things were still there, and honestly, she knew that he wouldn't leave her – not when he had come all the way to Romania to find her.

She pushed the duvet aside and flung her legs off the bed. The dark wooden floor felt cold under her bare feet as she tiptoed out the room and to the shared bathroom at the end of the hall. She washed her face and stopped on her way back to look out the window in the narrow corridor. It looked beautiful – the mountains rose over the small postcard village. She smiled.

Charlie came back after half an hour, carrying a brown paper back, two cardboard cups of coffee and some leaflets.

"Brought breakfast", he grinned from the door. Imogen set her book aside and hurried to help him, taking the cups of coffee and setting them down on the small wooden bedside table.

"Thanks", she smiled, then eyed the leaflets: "What are those?"

"Some maps, a few tourist leaflets... got them from Appleby in the reception."

"Right... and he knows we're wizards?" Imogen raised her brows questioningly.

Charlie nodded: "Yup."

"Okay."

Charlie set the leaflets on the bed and sat down, then conjured a tray and opened the paper bag. There was bread, cold cuts, cheese, apples, yogurt and two glass bottles of orange juice.

"Charlie", Imogen said, amused: "Were you thinking of feeding a whole army?"

"Appleby was generous", Charlie shrugged, reaching for the coffee on the night table: "Oh, and he asked us to have breakfast with him tomorrow, down in the dining hall."

Imogen nodded. That sounded promising – at least they weren't completely alone, and Mr Appleby must know a lot about the town, possibly even the poachers.

She took a sip of her coffee, staring ahead, deep in thought. Charlie seemed to notice.

"Everything okay?"

"Mm?" she was brought back to present time: "Oh! Yeah, I'm fine... a bit nervous, I guess."

"You don't have to be nervous", Charlie smiled and reached for her hand to squeeze it reassuringly: "We're going to be fine... do you miss home?"

She gave a small nod. Not that she didn't love a good adventure, she was just bothered about not having gotten a chance for a proper goodbye.

"Do you reckon we should send an owl? Explain the situation a bit?"

Charlie laughed lightly. Imogen immediately felt better. Charlie's laugh always made her feel better.

"I think we ought to", he smiled, sipping his coffee: "We'll do that after breakfast, yeah?"

Imogen nodded. They ate the rest of their breakfast in silence, occasionally glancing at each other and smiling. She had butterflies in her stomach, the kind you always had when you were in unfamiliar territory. At least she had Charlie.
