Chapter 16 - Neighbors

It was two days later morning, when Sidarth wake up to an empty bed which means she LEFT.

He grabbed his phone and called Rajbir who picked it up in the second ring.

"Hello", came a voice of an very sleepy Rajbir.

"Abey Sale tu so rha hai abhi tak", said Sidarth.

"Abhi tak ka kya mtlb hai yr sari raat jag rha tha meri raat hi abhi hui thi", said Rajbir.

"Acha aur aisa konse teer maar rha tha tu", asked Sidarth.

"Apki biwi ko settle kr rha tha", said Rajbir.

"Oh! It means vo raat ko hi chli gyi thi", asked Sidarth.

"Haan bhai madam ne raat ki flight book krayi thi toh usko Airport se leke vaha chod ke aya flat pe phir ghar aya toh sari raat aise hi nikal gayi tbhi", Rajbir explained.

"Okhai she is safe right", Sidarth confirmed.

"Hnji she's safe aur apke guards ko maine hotel mein stay kra diya hai do din ka jb aap aa jaoge toh they will fly back", said Rajbir.

"Yeah okhay mein abhi dekhta hu jo first flight hogi i will take that and came ok", said Sidarth.

"Okhay just give me a call when you reach", said Rajbir and they hung up.

Sidarth called his manager right away asking him to arrange a ticket for him to Chandigarh.

Few hours later, he was right standing in front of the building where his wife lived in flat no. 301 and he is having the key of flat no. 302 which is just beside hers.

He took his suitcases out and settled them in his flat.

Once done he came out and moved towards the flat no. 301

"Let's surprise you baby", said Sidarth ringing the bell.

"Yha kon aya hoga", said Sana in confusion who was cooking khichdi.

She opened the gate to saw her husband standing at the door.

She looked at him in shock and rubbed her eyes to confirm if he is standing there in real or she is just assuming.

"Baby", he grinned at her and opened his arms to engulf her in his arms.

But he stopped in mid just before touching her as her previous words rang through his mind.

He moved back in an instant as if his touch would burn her.

"Hi padosan", he said plastering a smile.

"Aap yha kya kr rahe hai", she spitted angrily.

She herself don't know for which reason she is getting this much angry because he is here when she is trying to ran away from him or for what has just happened.

She hates to admit but she felt a ache in her heart the way he moved back.

"Padosiyo se koyi aise baat krta hai", he said softly.

"Sidarth don't irritated me", she said irritated.

"Okhai okhai am leaving bs ye btane aya tha rehna ya chodna tumhara Faisla hai but i will try more than my level best to make you stay", he said genuinely and left.

Sana closed the door and sat down at the sofa with a thud after coming  inside.

"Kya chahtein hai aap Sidarth jb pas thi toh haar roz aisa kuch krte the ki mein door chali jau aur aab chali gayi hu toh pas ana hai kyu kar rahe hein ye aap mujhe akela kyu nahi chod dete", she screamed as the tears flow down from her eyes.
