Chapter 37 - Gift

"Shehnaazzz", he yelled patting her cheeks frantically.

"Sidharth pani daal", Maa said returning from the kitchen with a glass of water.

He took the glass of water and sprinkled it at her face.

"Baby get up please", he pleaded.

As water touched her face her eyes opened slowly.

"Baby aram se leti rehna tu kya karna hai uthke", he scolded as she tried getting up.

"Kya hai", she whined.

"Din hai aur bhare din mein tum chakkar kha ke gir gayi now may i know Yeh kya hai", he asked sternly.

"Voh pata nahi mein rice bana ri thi toh aise chakkar aya aur fer jab mein bhara ayi idhar toh fer mein gir gayi" she explained.

"Maa will you please", he asked.

"Haan beta bilkul tu isko leke
jaa", Maa nodded in understanding.

"Kaha leke jaa", Sana asked.

"Tum chup raho", saying so he picked her up in his arms.

"Sidharth kya kar rahe hai", she asked with a red face as Maa gave her a teasing look.

"Chup karke betho idhar", he said as he placed her at the passenger side.

"Huh! Zara sa chakkar kya aagaya Yeh toh dadagiri pe utar aye hai", she huffed.

"Kan (Ears) hai mere paas aur bghwan ki daya se sahi salamt kaam bhi karte hai", he mocked as he buckled his seat belt after settling himself at the driver seat.

"Where are we going", she asked.

"Lake pe tum gir gayi thi na toh soch raha hoon vaha pani mein chodh aau tumhe", he said shooting her a bored look.

"Sidharthhhhh", she whined.

"Kya Sidharth doctor pas ja rahe hai kaisa question pucha hai", he said but she didn't missed the fear itched over at his features, he fears hospitals specially after her accident.

"Sidharth mein thik hoon kuch nahi hoga", she said leaning her head at his arm.

"I hope so", he sighed defeatingly and she rubbed his arm soothingly.

"Sab thik hoga", she murmured before closing her eyes, she really felt exhausted.

They drove off to the clinic in silence. After reaching, Sidharth opened her side of the gate and was about to pick her up when she glared him.

"Chal sakti hoon mein", she muttered angrily and he was meant to oblige her right there.

Well, she don't get angry frequently. She rarely talks to him that way and when she do he knew he don't have another option than agreeing to her.
They walked to the doctor's cabin, thankfully they don't have to wait for the appointments and all. Thanks to her husband's image.

"Hii! Mr. Shukla good to see you here", Dr. Greeted charmingly completely ignoring Sana.

"Well am not at all good to see you Infact nobody would have as nobody feels good to visit a doctor you
know", he said sarcastically making doctor's face go red in embarrassment.

"So may I know what bring you here", she asked recovering back.

"Actually, my wife she got unconscious almost an hour before", he told clutching her hand in his.

"Oh! Okhay Mr. Shukla you please wait here I need to check her so please come with me Mrs. Shukla ", Dr. Said.

"Yeah!", he nodded reluctantly letting go off her hand.
