Cokali's phone started ringing, it interrupted their momentary silence. What he heard when picked up the call made him speed off the car as fast as he could till he reached the hospital.

" Stay here." He ordered and left.

Amaanee sat for some minutes but later decided to pay Adeeva another visit.

She met her sitting with the support of headrests and was sipping black tea. Amaanee could tell the tea has peppermint "mum's favourite" she thought.

" You are back already dear". Adeeva asked glowing pulling Amaanee to sit by her side. " How did it go love? I hope you had a good time. I felt lonesome when you left, I'm used to you already."

Amaanee hugged her very tight and whispered how much she missed her.
Amaanee took her time and narrated the whole incident to her calmly.
Adeeva felt glad within her and said; " That's hell of an ordeal. I do hope he gets well. I believe he will reward you magnificently. You know, you are special in your own way. Never let anyone tell you other wise." She took a deep breath then continued;

"I've discovered a lot in this job some worth knowing while some are uneventful. Some men will value you more than their family if you please them accordingly, while some will treat you as a dog or nastier. Some families might come after you the minute they know about your relationship with the man. Be careful with how you mingle with your customers and make sure you never fall in love with any of them. Jakadiya is a wonderful woman that stands up for all her packages, she will never abandon you if you do as she says always."

Their heart touching conversation was interrupted by Jakadiya saying; " We have lost her! We have lost her! Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un!.
Umaiyah has gone! She is no more! The little sweet girl that I took in as my daughter has left me! I've never lost a girl this young! This man will pay for it! He will pay for doing ritual with my Umaiyah! Nobody touches mine and go scot-free! They have forgotten how dangerous I can be when anyone touches my own. It's time I remind them that I've not changed even for a bit....".

Jakadiya bursted in to tears that anyone passing by will feel touched. She is a bold and strong woman that values her girls to the highest esteem.

Amaanee was speechless and frightened of what she heard from Jakadiya. " What is she going to do? What does she mean?" Amaanee thought.

Jakadiya held Amaanee's hand and said; " let's go dear, we have a lot to do. Adeeva let me know when anything strange happens."

Without waiting for an answer, she pulled Amaanee out of the room and straight to the car. No word was spoken throughout their drive back home.

On their arrival, Jakadiya looked at Amaanee with teary eyes and said; "Aisha will take you to her wing, you will stay there till everything calms down. Eat, sleep and rest well. I will come for you when the time is right.  Take care of yourself. Mingle with the girls, you will learn a lot from them."

Without saying another word, Jakadiya zoomed with Cokali in the vehicle. She turned and saw Aisha smiling at her.

Amaanee smiled back and they both headed to Aisha's wing quietly.
