Unknown Truth

When Zoe gained consciousness she found herself on a hospital bed with a bandage around her head. When she opened her eyes she saw a nurse beside her asking her if she is fine, she just
replied with a simple nod. Soon a doctor also came to check on her followed by two police officers. After doctor checked her two police officers
came to her and started interrogating her
Police officer1: miss Zoe are you ok now?
Zoe:y-yes officer
Police officer2: so miss do you remember anything that happened?
Suddenly all the memories of that incident started to flashing in front of her eyes which made tears rolled down her cheeks and she froze on her spot. Doctor rushed to her to calm her down, police officers stopped their  investigation. After few hours they again came to Zoe trying not to scare her.
Police officer1:miss can you come with us to recognize the dead bodies,if any of them is you family member
Zoe:o-ok
They took her to a room where all the dead bodies were kept. Zoe went towards them started looking one by one prying not to see her mother. But her prayers were not expected when she saw the dead body of her mother. She quickly pulled the blanket over her mother's face, she couldn't see more.
Zoe:mom,my Mom!!!!

Doctor took her back to her room and those police officers started asking her some questions.
Police officer1:miss we're so sorry for your loss. But do you have any other family member or friend here,can you name any??
Zoe:Olivia,Rachel,Mrs. Frey,Hayden-
Police officer2:Ha-Hayden? Hayden Coles,you mean you know Mr. Coles?
Zoe nodded her head hesitantly. She was not sure if he will help her after knowing she escaped.
Police officer1:ok miss we will contact them now.
After few hours Hayden and Mrs. Frey arrived. Mrs. Frey couldn't control her tears, she quickly hugged Zoe as if she will run again. Zoe also hugged her back because she really needed to hug someone after she lost her mother.
Mrs. Frey: where were you huh? You know how scared were we, what if something happened to you?
She scolded Zoe like her mom used to do that made Zoe tear up more
Zoe:I-I'm sorry aunty. I wish I never did all this just b-because of m-me my Mom!!!!!
She sobbed loudly
Mrs. Frey:shhhhh every thing will be alright. Don't worry your mom is in better place now and don't worry I'm here for you, I'll take care of you ok.

Mrs. Frey calmed Zoe. She hugged her till she stopped crying. After Zoe calm down Hayden came to her,Mrs. Frey went out of the room to give them some time. Zoe was scared of what will he do now.
Hayden:Zoe you're ok?
He asked very carefully trying not to scare her
Zoe:y-yes I'm fine
Hayden: don't worry everything will be alright
Zoe:I'm sorry I ran away because of me all this happened
She cried and Hayden's heart filled with guilt
Hayden:no,no,no please don't cry ok. I know you ran away and if I would be in your place I would also do the same,I would've never kidnapped you like that I'm sorry. But don't worry now whatever happened was all a accident, now don't cry.
Zoe:but what exactly happened,who did that attack??
Hayden:in news they said that some criminals ran away from jail and while police were chasing them they started attacking every one. And you're mom was one of the victim.
Zoe:it's all my fault!!!
Hayden:No!! Its not. Now don't cry and let's go home now
He smiled
Zoe:home?
Hayden:yes our home? Now we'll live together and nothing bad will happen now
Zoe hugged him tight making his heart beat 10 times faster and he was smiling ear to ear.

2 YEARS LATER~~
Its been 2 years since that accident. Zoe and Hayden are happily married now.
Mrs. Frey couldn't be anymore happy, after all she found a right person for Hayden. Zoe still doesn't know the that there's still something that is being hidden from her.
Mrs. Frey: Zoe are ready to go? Hayden is waiting for us
Zoe:yes aunty,let's go
Mrs. Frey: ok let's go
She smiled sweetly to her. It's was Zoe' mother's death anniversary and all of them were heading to grave yard. When they reached there Zoe took some flowers and kept them on her mother's grave as some tears rolled down her cheeks. While Hayden and Mrs. Frey were standing behind
to give her some space.
Mrs. Frey: Hayden two years back on this day every thing changed right?
Hayden: yeah,every thing changed for better and the best part of this is that Zoe believed each and every word I said,she didn't even suspected me for her mother's death. She easily believed that attack was done by some criminals but she doesn't even know that those whose did that attack were my men
Mrs. Frey: yeah, but I still wanna ask you that was it neccessary to kill her mother?? like you could have sent her somewhere far away
Hayden:ofcourse it was aunty. She was separating me and Zoe,because of her my Zoe ran away. And ofcourse I sent her faaaaaaaar away from where she could never return
Mrs. Frey: never mind the most important thing is that we all are happy now and-
She was interrupted by Zoe
Zoe:Hayden I'm done lets go now
Hayden:ok wait!! there are still some tears. Please don't cry now
Zoe:no,no I'm not crying
Hayden wiped her left over tears and hugged her. When he hugged her he looked over at her mother's grave and smiled creepily. Zoe may think think that Hayden is changed but what she
doesn't know is that he is still the same merciless person,because he's still
The Devil.
