Kidnapped

Zoe came out from pharmacy after paying a big amount of money to buy her mother's medicine who was suffering from Angina. She was admitted in hospital few weeks ago because of a sudden pain in chest but she was discharged now and was resting at home. When Zoe reached home she went straight to her mother's room.
Zoe:Mom did you take your medicine and had your lunch?
Mom:Yeah don't worry I had my lunch and medicine don't worry about me, you tell me how was your day?
Zoe:my day was ok,just some customer tried to get me fired at the cafe and my boss was annoyed. But now it's fine.
Mom:don't worry everything will be alright
Zoe:yeah you're right, now I'm going to prepare dinner.

*But their door bell ring*. Zoe went to get the door. There was her best friend, Rachel dressed in a ball gown.
Rachel:Hey Zoe please accompany me and my mother to a party
Zoe:But why do I have to go? and you know my mom is sick I have to prepare dinner for her. I can't leave her alone and I don't even have any nice clothes.
Rachel: Don't worry about that and also don't worry about your mother I am leaving my maids and butlers here so  they will take care of everything
She clapped her hands and three maids and two butlers came in. They were holding a big bag.
Zoe:but-
Rachel:No more buts please.........
She said desperately with pleading eyes

Zoe couldn't say no so she agreed
Rachel:Don't worry I'll talk to your mother
She said as she hurriedly pushed Zoe in her room with two of her maids. While Rachel was convincing Zoe's mother,Maids were helping Zoe with her hair, dress and makeup. She came out wearing a beautiful red ball gown

Mom:oh my daughter! You are looking so beautiful!!!
Zoe:Mom but I don't wanna go and who will look after you?
Mom:Don't worry about me you just go and enjoy
Zoe:but-
Rachel:No more buts let's go
She pulled Zoe out the door in a hurry. There was a Limo waiting for them as she got in she was greeted by Mrs. Smith (Rachel's mother). Mrs. Smith never liked Zoe very much because she came from a poor family.

Rachel's mother:Hello Zoe you are looking gorgeous
She said with a fake smile as always
Zoe:oh thank you Mrs. Smith and thank you too Rachel for inviting me
Rachel just gave her an awkward smile
Zoe:well where is your father Rachel,He is not here with us?
Rachel:o-oh he is not here actually uhmm I-I mean he is not-not in town
Both Rachel and her Mother panicked at Zoe's sudden question.
Mrs. Smith:He'll be here with us again if you come with us
She mumbled under her breath angrily. Mrs. Smith was burning in anger,
She just couldn't see Zoe in a beautiful dress going to such a party. She never understood why her daughter was so fond of Zoe but she had to do all this just to bring her husband back and keep her family on the safe side, after all being mean was nothing new to her.
Soon they reached their destination. Rachel gave Zoe a mask to wear. She quickly wore it and came out of Limo.

Blinding lights and camera flashes welcomed them. It was all normal for Rachel to attend such parties because of her parents but for Zoe it was all new. She quietly followed behind Rachel and her Mother,but what she didn't knew was that a pair of eyes were watching her each and every movement carefully. When they reached inside Rachel and her Mother left Zoe in the middle in a hurry as if they never knew her. Zoe was left alone soon a waiter came offering her some champagne,she politely declined the offer. Zoe was still standing there admiring such a place with so many rich people.

When suddenly all the lights turned off it was pitch black which caused Zoe to panic a little. But then spotlight fell on a man who was standing on the grand staircase with his charming face that was hidden under a black mask wearing a black tuxedo looking like a prince but with a dark aura. Another spotlight fell on Zoe which caused her to squint her eyes for a while but then her eyes fell on the man who was slowly walking towards her, as if he hypnotized her
with his charm she unknowingly started walking towards him. He moved his hand forward, as a gesture asking for her to dance indirectly,Zoe mesmerized by his charm accepted his gesture.

Soft music started playing in the background they started dancing to the rythm without caring about anything. None of them said anything. Zoe didn't even realized that when they came to a big balcony while still dancing together. When Zoe looked around she was confused because of her surroundings, but that guy was still unbothered and was still gazing at Zoe
Zoe:umm I'm sorry bu-but I have to go
She said remembering about her mother. But he didn't budge at all.
Zoe:please leave me, I have to go
Mysterious Man: No
He said as he tightened his grip on her more
Zoe: please leave me I have to go,leave aah who are you? leave me
She said still struggling from his grip
Misterious Man:The Devil~~
He whispered in her ear with his low and raspy voice. That's when her eyes went wide and she knew she couldn't Escape.
