New Friends

Meilin tried to smile. She waited and waited for the Evers to stare at her. Instead they smiled at her. A brown haired came forward. "I'm Diana. You are Meilin?" the girl said. She carried a pink uniform. Pink? "No thanks," Meilin shook her head. "You want blue?" Diana's best friend asked. Meilin nodded. Diana and her best friend who had black hair, Rue grinned. "Yes! Thanks Meilin, so much! You will get a new class list from the pink one. Wait, have you ever face monsters?" Rue asked. "Yes, I have," Meilin said. "You fit right in with us. Look at your class list," Diana said. Meilin beamed. History of Heroes were okay. Swordplay, Weapons training, Monster fighting, and rescuing princesses. A girl with brown eyes and hair went to them. "Katniss," the girl sighed, as if she didn't have a lot of friends. "Meilin." Katniss seemed to perk up when Agatha was the teacher. "You will love her!" Katniss told Diana and Rue. "I already met Agatha. We talk by phone, she looks so prettier now," Meilin gushed. Agatha winked at Meilin and Meilin was relieved. Agatha is okay, she is her usual self, Meilin thought. "I wonder how Rena is doing," Meilin whispered. It felt like they would grow apart very soon.
