Lollipop is not very amused having to run a daycare.
Yet she is the only one who CAN take care of that many children at once, so she's kinda stuck with the responsibility.
Did I just want an excuse to write Lollipop into a chapter?
Yes.
Yes I did.
"Okay, just sign this. How long are you planning to be dropping her off here for?" Lollipop asked as if this wasn't the tenth time that month that Balloony and Cloudy have dropped Pinwheel off at daycare. "About 1-2 hours. Rocky's doctor appointments normally take that long." Cloudy told her. "Alright. If anything changed, make sure to call the office and we'll add less or extra time to our schedule. You can be on your way now." Lollipop told them. "Alright. Goodbye Pinwheel." Balloony called out. Pinwheel pouted, whining as they left.
"Why don't you go on and play with some of the other kids?" Lollipop suggested. Pinwheel made a whining sound before walking away from the front doors. There weren't that many others at the daycare that morning. Lollipop felt lucky. Ear Ring, Mood Ring, Bag Of Cotton, Butterfly Net, and Icing Bag were the only other children there. Icing bag was chasing around Ear Ring, Mood ring, and Bag of cotton. He was trying to catch them using Butterfly Net.
"Can you put me down? I'm dizzy!" Butterfly Net whined. "Oh, sorry." Icing bag put her down immediately. "Phew. We win!" Ear Ring cheered. "Hi Pinwheel!" Mood Ring greeted. Pinwheel waved her hand back at her. She could talk, she was just very shy about it. Also, I would guess it would be a bit difficult to learn to speak when everyone you knew had "normal" voices except for your parents.
"Rocky at a doctors appointment again?" Bag Of Cotton asked her. Pinwheel nodded her head. "Aw, well, we can play! It's Mood Ring's turn to choose a game. You can be next to choose." Icing Bag offered. "O-okay."
"How about we just play hide and seek? That sounds like fun!" Mood Ring suggested. "Okay! You count since it's your game." Ear Ring reminded her. Mood right went into the corner and started counting. Pinwheel looked around for a good place to hide. She noticed a toy chest in the corner of the room, and decided to hide there.
"Ready or not, here I come!" Mood ring called out to the others.
(Sorry this chapter is short, I am most likely going to be doing that for a lot of chapters in this book)
