"Don't go yet..." Dabi X Reader

Chapter 2

After dinner, I went to bed, which to my surprise wasn't hard to do at all. I slept in to about 3 in the afternoon, I slowly opened my eyes to see Fuyumi walking into my room. "Oh, hey Fuyumi! What ya doing in my room this..." I turned to look at the clock, "This late? It's like 3:07, wait why do you look like you've seen a ghost? Did a spider get into your room or something?" I asked while getting up concerned, Fuyumi looked really scared which isn't like her at all.

"(Y/n), that villain is on the news right now. I really think you should take a look at it!" Fuyumi said while dragging me into the living room because as soon as I heard this my heart sank, 'Here I thought I'd have a good day today, guess I was wrong. Great, universe why!?' I thought to myself.

"And here's Willow with reports on a villain that's been killing recently." The news did a transition to the laddie named Willow. "Thank you, Benjamin, well folks today the villain named Dabi has done a good number of killings in the last 48 hours. Some bystanders have reported that this villain had an encounter with no other than the no.1 Pro Hero Endeavor! Here's some video evidence that the bystanders had submitted to us."

The news started playing a clip from a video someone sent to the news of Endeavor and Dabi fighting while you were running away. "I can't believe that this villain got away from Endeavor, that looks bad on his part! But what's so frightening is that this villain, Dabi killed at least 29 more people! Every time the cops went to investigate the body's they were all charred with little to go off of, but it looks as if Dabi was going after someone. Now back to the weather wit-"

I cut off the news and fell to the floor, I was shaking uncontrollably. 'Is a villain really trying to hunt down and kill me? Why me of all people, I didn't do anything too bad.' While I thought about this I was starting to cry, suddenly I felt someone hug me. I didn't need to look at them. I knew it was Fuyumi because I and her were the only ones here. 'Wait we're the only ones here! The villain might attack now!'

I suddenly stood up which shock Fuyumi a bit, "Fuyumi, we need to make sure this house is secured." I said while I realize Fuyumi looked at me weird, "Why? This place is already secured, plus we have a hero-" Fuyumi cut herself off, she looked like she just realized something extremely important. "We're home alone! The villain might try something!" Fuyumi screamed this while running to the front of the house to check to make sure things were locked up and secured, I went into the back to make sure everything was locked.

Later that night I and Fuyumi huddled on the couch refusing to move away from our position. I soon heard a knock at the door which made me jump, "Fuyumi what do we do now?" I asked in a quiet tone so no one besides Fuyumi heard me. "I think we should go check, if it was a villain there's no way they would knock! They would just barge in and, well...." Fuyumi started to trail off not wanting to say the last part.

I nodded and slowly got up and went to the door, there was sweat dripping from my head. 'Please don't be a villain that wants to kill me! Please!' I begged to myself while I opened the door, and oh my lord this was the first time I was glad it was Enji. "Why do you look like you've seen a ghost? Better yet why did it take like five minutes to open the front door?" Enji asked in a skeptical tone, "O-Oh well...." I trailed off not wanting to tell Enji since he would make a big deal out of it and try to act like a "good father"

Enji seemed a bit annoyed that I didn't finish what I said, so Enji walked into the house and looked around until he saw Fuyumi in the almost same state as I was. "Ok, what's going on here? Why do both of you seem so freaked out?" Enji yelled, and when he yells you know he wants no lies or bluffing.
