"Don't go yet..." Dabi X Reader

Chapter 8

Once I was in the house I went straight into my room, I can't believe I almost got kidnapped or maybe killed yet again. What is this anime? I'm not the main character, I'm more like a side character. Why is this happening to me of all people? My phone started to ring violently, I picked it up and answered it. "Hello? Who is this?" I asked, "It's me Toga!" Toga said happily. "Oh hi Toga, why are you calling me at 6:29 in the morning?" I asked just realizing the time. "Oh well, when that bird guy was at our hideout we seen you on the window and Dabi is afraid something happened to, even though he's not admitting it."Toga said.

This honestly shocked me a bit. I made a fool out of myself, and Dabi was worried about me? He couldn't have been worried about me. "I'm fine Toga, one of the masked man's henchmen pulled me into an ally and I assumed he was going to kidnap me or kill me. I step on his foot super hard thus getting away from the guy's grip, I then ran into the main street and was saved." I said it so casually, but on the inside, I was freaking out. I heard Toga gasp and tell who you assume was Dabi or Shigaraki. I heard the other person yelling, I couldn't make out who the voice belonged to but they sounded angry.

"Toga is everything ok..?" I asked, I was quite worried. I mean they are villains, who know what they can do when they're angry. "Y-Yeah, everything is fine. I have to go (Y/n), bye!~" Toga said, she then hung up.. 'Well that was weird..' I thought to myself. I decided that watching some tv wouldn't harm anyone, once the tv was turned on the news started to play. "-Today we have reports of a new villain! Going by the name 'Overhaul', this masked villain has used red bullets to 'erase' quirks. So far it's not long-lasting but deadly, please do stay safe and on the lookout for this masked villain. Now to Willo-" I cut the tv off.

'Why does this always happen to me? I'm just a weird normal girl without a quirk. Why does my life have to be this hard!?' I mentally yelled to myself. I started to pace around my room getting anxious, suddenly I heard a loud crash that made me jump in place. 'What was that!? Why did it sound so-so loud?' I thought to myself. I got my pocket knife out of the case, at this point in my life I can never be too sure anymore. I slowly got out of my room, strangely enough, all the lights were out.

The problem with this is Fuyumi, Rei, and Enji had all left. Enji had an important hero meeting, Rei had a therapy session, and Fuyumi had to work today. I had the lights turned on because it gets unbelievably dark in this house without light, even if it was the morning simply because of where the house structure is placed. I inhaled deeply as I started to walk slowly in the halls, I made sure to stick to the walls to properly hide if need be. Once I got slower to the living room I heard talking.

"Are you sure about this boss? It looks like nobody is there currently." I heard someone say, I know for a fact that this person isn't apart of my family. "Nemoto, If there was someone important to the League of Villains it's mostly the girl. She witnessed my killing, we have to get rid of the pest." Someone said it was the same low, silky voice I've heard before. 'I am so dead, on no...' I thought to myself. "Well while we're here, we might as well test our new bullet." The other one said, "Just do it quickly, theirs too much dust in here." The villain going by the name 'Overhaul' said I heard the door shut violently.

I heard the other villain start moving around, mostly looking for me. The villain went into the dark hallway I was hiding in and I realized, it was the villain that had pulled me into that ally way. While the villain was walking I held my breath, he started to walk past me and almost pumped into me. Once the villain had left the hall I released my breath. "That was a close one" I whispered to myself, "Yeah that was a close one." I hear the villain say and then slam me into the wall. "You should've never got involved with villains sweetheart. " The Villain stated while pulling out a gun.
