"Don't go yet..." Dabi X Reader

Chapter 7

It took me about two hours to finely find the warehouse Toga had sent me, it looked quite trashed if I'm being honest with you. Before I walked in, I recalled what Toga had told me through the phone because I was having trouble finding this place. Apparently, there's a few new members of the League and she had informed them about me. Toga had said most of them didn't see a problem with it as long as I wasn't a hero or I wouldn't snitch on them.

Then again a few of them were skeptical of me from the start when Toga said I was the daughter of a Pro Hero, I took a deep breath and walked up to the door of the warehouse, of course, it was locked. I knocked and waited for a response, only..there wasn't one. 'What do I do now? Toga acted really excited to see me, what happened?' I thought I decided I would text Toga and see what's up. I opened my phone and went to 'Message+'. *'Toga, hey I'm here. Why is the door locked and why didn't anyone open it when I knocked?'* I reread the message to see if there were any errors then sent it.

I waited for about three minutes, I gotten no reply and Toga didn't even see it. 'Maybe no one is here? Even though I doubt that on a high extent.' I thought I decided I would take a look for myself. There were some windows near the roof of the building, if I can get up there I can see what's going on. 'Now to find a way up there...' I thought. I started looking around the building for anything to climb, I started to give up but then I saw a latter that led to the roof! 'There must be some roof working going on up there, if there is, it's clear that the workers don't pay enough attention to the inside very much.' I thought to myself.

I got closer to the latter and realized two things, 1) if I slip up, I'm going to fall and die from the height of the latter. 2) if I make too much noise the workers are going to find me. I had to be careful with my every move or its game over. I took another deep breath and started to climb slowly, making little to no noise at all. This is great, my plan is working! I started to get a little too happy and I messed up my footing and slipped a little, I caught myself before I fell to my doom, but I'm pretty sure the workers might have heard me. I decide to stay still for about two minutes at most.

"Hey Bill, did you hear somethin'?" One of the roof workers had asked, "Yeah William, I did hear somethin'." The roof worker named Bill stated. "You'd think it's a bird or a wild animal at the latter?" William asked, "Let's hope not, that'd be bad if we couldn't get down. But then again I could just use my quirk, this roof is made out of cement after all." Bill said. "Eh, yeah your right, let's get back to workin'," William stated.

'That was a close one.' I thought to myself. I started to climb again and this time I successfully made my way to the window. I took a look inside and it was a weird sight, to say the least, I saw Dabi, Toga, Twice, Kurogiri, Shigaraki, and a few other villains look like they were ready to fight. There was also this other guy, it looked like he was a threat to the villains honestly, he had a bird-like mask on his face. Brown hair that was relatively short, a green jacket with purple fluff on it. I couldn't see any more of him because of the distance, but it looked like he was talking bad about the League. Shigaraki wasn't having any of it by the looks of it.

While this masked man was talking, it seemed as if it angered one of the new League villains. What seemed like a girl picked up a huge metal pole and started to charge at this masked man. This girl then seemed like she used her quirk to make the masked man's head come towards the metal pole, it seemed like the masked man had quickly dodged the attack and took off, what I can honestly assume was a glove, and...flicked? The woman's forearm. I couldn't tell what was happening from up here, but suddenly her torso exploded resulting in her lower half falling in a pile of her own blood.

I gasped and almost fell off the latter again. This time it was pretty loud and the roof workers looked to see what it was, "Hey you can't be up here ma'am!" Bill stated, "S-Sorry!" I stuttered out, I took a quick glance into the window to find the masked man and a few League members looking at me. I'm done for, "Hey Ma'am, get down!" William yelled, I started practically 'running' down the latter if that's possible. Once I was on the ground I started to run, as fast as my legs could carry me, I hear both roof workers yell at me. While running I didn't look back, but suddenly I felt a hand wrap around my mouth and pull me into an ally.

I managed to look at who had pulled me into an ally, he looked like the other masked man kinda. He had all black on and a masked, he looked similar to the 'Plunge Doctor'. I started to struggle under their grip, I had decided to make a plan. I stomped on the man's foot as hard as I could, making this man scream. I started to book it as fast as I can, I heard running behind me but I kept running. If I got to the main street there are people that would see this, and theirs plenty of heroes out on the main street today. I took a quick glance behind me and seen that the masked man was still after me, he was limping but that only slowed him down a little.

I looked back and bumped into someone, I made sure the masked man was gone before I said anything. "S-Sorry!" I said, out of breath. "O-Oh your fine!" Someone said they looked around Shoto's age. "You should be more careful where you're looking!" A cheerful voice said next to the boy that looks like he's my brother's age. "Oh, I'm sorry...Someone was-" I was cut off by a little girl running out of an ally way and bumped into the same guy I had bumped into, the guy with green and black hair bent down to the girl. She looked frightened by human interaction by the looks of it.

The green and black-haired boy was talking to the little girl, but I paid no attention to that, I was frightened by the villain coming out of the ally. It was the same masked man that had killed a member of the League, he had seen me in the window as well, I had no idea how he got here this fast but, this isn't good at all. "Eri, you know better than to run off like that." A low, silky voice said. The green and black-haired boy looked skeptical of this man, and I don't blame him. The cheerful man next to the boy pulled the green and black-haired boy's mask over his head, "Eri we're leaving." The masked man said, before looking at me and freaking me out. Both of the boys looked at me, skeptical now. "Haven't I've seen you before?" The man asked.

"N-No, I don't recall seeing you before. I haven't seen anyone dressed like you before so I'd say no." I said, trying not to scream out that I've witnessed him murder someone in the span of five seconds. The masked man started to walk away and then pull at his white gloves, "Come on Eri, you know what happens if the gloves come off." The man said. The girl named Eri clearly didn't want to go with him, but she cried and pulled away from the boy and ran over to the masked man. I felt bad for her but there's nothing I can do to save her, I don't even have a quirk but it breaks my heart to know that she's captured by a villain.

The two boys started to discuss some things before turning back to me, "I'm Mirio Togata." The blond said while smiling, "I'm Midoriya Izuku!" The green and black-haired boy said, "Oh! Nice to meet you my name is Todoroki (Y/n)!" I said happily because I got away from that other masked man because of them, they looked at me with shock. "What's wrong? Did I say something..?" I asked confused, "W-Wait.." Midoriya began, "Are you related to Todoroki Shoto?" Midoriya asked, 'Oh this must be one of Shoto's classmates!' I thought. "Why yes I am, I am Shoto's big sister!" I said proudly.

"Well that's funny, Todoroki seems so quiet and anti-social, but you're like the opposite!" Mirio said, "Oh well, I am normally anti-social but I am very thankful right now." I said, "Oh? Why is that?" Midoriya asked, "O-Oh you see...I'm pretty sure that masked man we have just seen, one of his henchmen was chasing me because I witnessed something." I said in a quiet voice, they both looked at me in shock "A-Are you ok!? Do you need a doctor or anything!" Midoriya asked, he sound super worried. "Haha, no. I'm fine, I made the dude limp by stepping on his foot really hard because I'm quirkless but I'm sure I'm fine! Would one of you walk me home though? I'm scared the guy might try to do a sneak attack on me." I asked.

Midoriya looked taken back and his face saddens at the word 'quirkless' I have no idea why. "Midoiya how about you go report this incident to Sir Nighteye? And how about your report to him about Todoroki (Y/n) as well, we don't want her to get hurt either! I will walk you home Todoroki (Y/n)." Mirio said with a huge smile on his face, "Oh alright, thanks Mirio!" I said while I gave him a closed eye smile. Midoriya bid his goodbye and started running to I assume an agency. Me and Mirio started to walk towards my house, I thought it was going to be a silent walk like it always is when someone walks with me but this time it was different.

"Todoroki (Y/n)." Mirio began, "Before you say anything Mirio, call my (Y/n). I think it would be confusing calling two people 'Todoroki'." I said while giggling at how stupid I sounded calling Shoto by his last name basically. Mirio started to smile, "Oh ok (Y/n)! You can call me Togata then, anyways I was going to say you look really pretty (Y/n)." Togata said. I felt my face heat up. "O-Oh, thank you Togata," I said while laughing nervously, Once we got to my home a bid farewell to Togata and walked into my house. Before I left though Togata did give me his number...maybe this is the start of a relationship? Maybe, maybe not. Who knows, we can't forget Dabi though...
