The day after our anniversary date, when I woke up, I had the strangest feeling. As soon as I got out of bed, I felt like it was Time. The night before had been so special and... I had a realization. I wanted to propose to Jane. Woah... That felt wierd. I sat down for a whole 3 HOURS thinking about if I REALLY wanted to do it. I finally got the courage to go out.
I drove to the mall and nervously walked into the jewelry store. A friendly lady walked over to me and asked, "Hi! How may I help you today?" I stuttered along, "Umm... I'm looking for an engagement ring. Maybe... a silver band and a blue jewel?" She kindly smiled with a twinkle in her eye. "You, sir, have exceptional taste. We have 2 jewels that come in blue. Sapphire and diamond. Do you have a preference, or would you like to see our selection first?"
"I think I want to see the selection of rings first, if you don't mind." She chuckled and replied, "Well, of course not! That's what I'm here for, after all! Follow me, I have something in mind." So, I followed her down a short hallway, to what I assumed was a storage room. She carefully slid open a drawer and and array of gorgeous rings appeared. But, there were 2 that I was fixed on. I guess she saw me staring at them, because she took them out and handed them to me. One had a silver, spiral band, with little diamonds lining it. Tiny diamonds circled a medium sized, blue sapphire. The other one had a simple, silver band with a square sapphire in the middle, and little diamonds on the sides of it. It was a debate, but I eventually chose the first one. It was absolutely beautiful. Just like Jane. Thats when I knew that it was the one. I paid for it, thanked the lady for her help, and drove home. Now, all I had to do was ask Fairy Godmother and Jane's dad for their blessing, and of course ASK her to marry me!!
Hey, guys! I know, it was a LONG chapter. Moving on. So, I need to decide on who Jane's dad is. I've narrowed it down to either the Duke or Jack. It could be Jack because of the "Ja". But, the Duke can be seen keeping a conversation with Fairy Godmother and looking at Jane, admiring his possible daughter in Descendants 2. So, I need your help! Comment down below who you think should be her dad! Again, I'm ALWAYS up for chapter suggestions. Love you guys, bye!!
