POV- Carlos
I took a deep breath. My heart was beating wildly. With anxiety and a little bit of fear, I knocked on Fairy Godmothers door. Jane's dad, the Duke of Cinderellasburg opened the castle gate and invited me inside.
"Well hello, Carlos! What brings you here?" Fairy Godmother said as I walked into the spacious living room of the palace.
"I- I need to talk to you. Both of you. Can we sit?" I walked over to a chair and sat down. Their faces were puzzled, but they sat.
"I have a very important question to ask the both of you."
"Go ahead, tell us." The Duke said.
I took another deep breath.
"I love your daughter. She is my world, and I don't know where I would be without her. I want to spend the rest of my life with her. So... do I have your permission to marry her?"
Fairy Godmother gasped, tearing up.
She exclaimed in a choked up voice, "I was beginning to think you weren't going to ask! Of course you have our permission, Carlos. So... what do you have planned?? Do you have the ring yet?"
I reached into my suit pocket and grabbed the little box. I opened it and she smiled.
"Oh, it's gorgeous! She will definitely say yes." The Duke stated.
"Well, thank you for your time... I'm planning on proposing very soon. Within the week."
I walked out of the castle, still shaking. I was going to propose to Jane!
I know, I said I wanted you guy's opinions on her dad, but nobody was making comments. So, I just went out on a limb. Let me know what you think and if you have any good ideas for the proposal! Love you guys!
