POV- Carlos
I had it all planned out. We would go on a romantic, secluded river and ride a boat down the stream. After we got out, I would have a picnic set up on the bank, with a clear sky. We would eat all of our favorite foods, then watch a meteor shower that happened to be passing by tonight. But, I had all that planned, with nothing to wear! I was looking for a nice, but not super formal shirt and jeans. I wanted to look good for Jane tonight. I had already trashed my room, looking for the shirt. I found a simple, plaid, button up shirt and I slipped it on. After ten minutes of digging through my drawers, I found some jeans, and a nice jacket. I put it all on, then slipped my new shoes that I had bought just for that occasion on. I finally set out to pick up Jane.
I nervously walked up to her door and hesitated. Why was I so nervous? We had been dating for five years!! I rang the bell, and a minute later, Jane came out and gave me a quick kiss. Gods! After five years I still blush when she does that! I walked her back to my car, opened the door for her, and she thanked me. We began to drive off, and the still had no idea where we were going. After about twenty minutes, I led her to the river. She gasped in shock.
