"So, shes awake?" A faint voice inquired.

"Yeah she is. I recon shes pretending shes not, so we leave her alone." Another voice wheezed.

My breath hitched. Where was I? This was definitely not heaven- was I in hell?!

Wait. No, theres no way - I couldn't be? Or could I be? I'm not sure.

"Are you sure shes awake?"

"Positive, shes trying to avoid us. As soon as I mentioned it her breathing went weird."

I hesitated on opening my eyes. They felt like garage doors that were constantly being dragged up and down.

My eyes slowly fluttered open, and I caught a glimpse of my surroundings. I was in a weird white room, there was a plant and a table next to me. I shuffled slowly to sit up, the floor was wood and I was laying in a single bed with crisp white sheets. Did they have a thing for white or something?

"Good morning, sunshine." A voice chuckled from beside me.

"Where am I?"

"Wouldn't you like to know?" They taunted in response.

I huffed, swinging my legs to the side of my bed. A blistering pain rippled through my body as I did so. I flinched, flopping back down onto the bed.

"Eret messed up your shoulder pretty bad, I'm suprised you made it past the first obstacle of the launch pad." I could feel their grin from behind me.

"Where am I." This time, it was a demand - not a question.

"Woah, calm down sunshine. You're in the community house, Dream SMP lands. Ring a bell?" they confirmed.

I flinched at the words 'Dream SMP.' Out of all the places I could be, I was here! I honestly wished I fell in the lava, maybe my death should have been inevitable.

"Who am I talking to?" I quizzed the stranger.

"The one and only." They taunted, "Fine, my names Dream - you know who I am." he asserted.

"How- how am I here?!" I complained, slightly rolling my eyes.

"Simple, I saved you - we took care of you."

I started to piece together the past events, Dream was the stranger that saved me from falling. I wasn't being greeted by death - Dream wasn't death. He might as well been at this point, I would rather fall in lava than be here.

"Why? I'm a L'manburgian - I can't even be here!" I stammered, "Any L'manburg citizens cross over to Dream SMP lands shall be punished by a death sentence immediately! Why would you save me, I could have been one less of an opponent. WHY WERE YOU AT THE LAUNCH PAD?!" I rambled angrily.

"First of all, I was there to make fun of Tommy and Tubbos skills on getting past the obstacles. Second of all, I saved you because I'm... nice?"

"and your cute.." he whispered to himself.

"Why haven't you killed me yet? I'm on Dream SMP land as a L'manburg citizen?!"

"But darling, you are the only exception."

"I dislike you, a lot." I snarled, thinking back to all the times Dream and his little group had wronged l'manburg. Dream really was the villain in this story book - He was a power hungry freak. The masked man laughed lowly, as if he knew what I was thinking.

"A lot of people do, sunshine - but the world still turns." He grinned.

"Stop calling me that stupid nickname, I'll be on my way now." I sat up from the bed I was laying on and began to walk to the door.
