"I still can't believe what my daughter has done to her kit!" the elderly she-cat exclaimed. "Morningdawn is just not doing anything with Cinderkit and favoring Flowerkit!"
"Morningdawn and Blackwing can do what they want," the she-cat's mate meowed, walking up to brush her side and nuzzle her cheek. "Cinderkit will still have StarClan's favor."
"Isn't that a bit much to claim Whitefeather?" a she-cat with icy blue eyes asked.
"Frosteyes, I know Cinderkit will at least have mine and Blossomtail's favor," Whitefeather chuckled. "My daughter hasn't been the best mother to Cinderkit."
"I must say that there will be an event that will be a turning point for Cinderkit," a new cat meowed.
"I know Icefang," Whitefeather meowed. "A daughter of morning will rise."
"I will tell Mintpelt and Bramblepaw," Icefang meowed.
The light blue-gray she-cat turned and bounded away.
