Book 1, Chapter 7: The new leader.

Missy POV:
"That thing is moving into postion" Abuelita said. She pointed to the aliens. There many of them coming to find us.
"She right" Wheels said
"We only have 2 hours left." Wheels said.
"Won't be long until the take over begins." Wheels said
"Everybody get inside. Come,come."Abuelita said
Back at headquaters Ms granada POV:
"Come on people" I said
I needed to find the kids before take over happens. They need to be captured. So then we can chose another group. A more powerful group. These kids cant even control there power. Missy dosent even have any powers. And Wild Card cant even control it. They most likely cant even work as a team to stop the take over. A better team would be a group who can control there powers and actally have powers.
"How hard can it be to find a dozen untrained unfocus children?" I said
"Ive got something. Its weak" A worker said
"It seems to be some type of communicator" The worker said
"Belonging to this kid" The worker said
The kid who dosent have any powers. Has a tracker braclet. Most likely from his dad.
Mabey after her mom died.
"Can we trace it?" I asked
"Hold on" the worker said
"Got her" The worker said
Back to Abuelita house. Missy POV:
My braclet was a bit werid. It wasent working at all. I didnt thought much of it. Little did I know it would be a big problem later on.
"But we're children." Rewind said
"Yes, children of the Heroics" Abuelita said
"If anyone going to save the world. Its you." Abuelita said
"Because you all have superpowers" Abuelita said
I didnt really needed to be reminded I have no superpowers. But Abuelita says that I do. And I would figure out soon. Its been many years ever since I was born and I tryed everything to figure out my powers but it never worked. I stoped trying ever since I was 9. I gave up after my mom died. I watched my mom died yet I never knew who did it. Although I wish I knew who planned it. Because I really want to take them down. My mother and I were so close.
"Super lame powers" Face maker said
"Speak for yourself" Wild card said
"Okay Johnny Random." Rewind said
"This is no way to be a super hero team" Abuelita said
"Abuelita right." I said
I knew I had to say something. My mother was the leader of the heroics before she died. I wanted to try to do the same. But Im really new to this and not ready. Abuelita says that You become ready by doing it. So Im trying to be the leader. I really hope this goes well
"Aliens are about to invade. And if we want to save our parents and the whole world we're gonna need to do it now." I said
"Are you saying that we can be heros?" Acapella said.
And thats where I lost my confindence again.
"Well yeah thats kinda what im saying." I said
"We can be Heroes" Acapella singed
"Sorry, it was there for the taking." Acapella said
"I need you all to maximize your powers." Abuelita said
Wild Card POV:
"Grandma, I been trying to do that my whole life so if you have any ideas. I'm all ears." I said
And then face marker made his ears as large as an elephant. Which is embarssing. If I knew how to control my powers I would shock him with electricy right now. Espiclly because everyone and Missy where watching.
"Um, Its not about who the strongest or fastest. It's about working together." Abuelita said
"And thats why we need someone to be the leader." Abuelita said
"That would be me." I said
"I was actally thinking about missy but thank you" Abuelita said
It was kind of the first time I wasent the leader. Kind of annoys me even though I like Missy. I just think she wont be able to do it as its her first time and a lot of the team can get crazy with there powers. I just really dont want her to get overwhelmed.
Missy POV:
I didnt know how to lead everyone. I never been the leader before. I was really scared. It would be better for Wild Card to lead because he actally has exprince unlike me. And also I kind of feel like I like him.
"But I'm the leader." Wild Card said
"Yeah he's right and Im prefectly fine with that." I said
"Well I'm not and we dont have time to argue." Abuelita said
"So what I say goes." Abuelita said
"Welcome to my training ground" Abuelita said
"Lets boogie" Abuelita said
I never thought my Abuelita had a training ground in her back yard. I thought it was always just a back yard to plant flowers and run away.
"Stand together." Abuelita said
"Feel the ryhme" Abuelita said
"Calmate Guppy" Abuelita said
"Calm down dear" Abuelita said
I tryed to balnce but it wasent working. I was almost about to fall and went back. I had no confidence in myself.
"ah, Okay nieta your turn" Abuelita said
"No I'm not ready!" I said
"And thats how you become ready by doing it." Abuelita said
Back at head quaters Ms.Granada POV:
It was already getting late. An hour and a hafe until take over begins and I wont let these kids ruin it.
"Im picking up a leap in the sound." The worker said.
"What are they saying?" I said
"Can you hear them?" I said
"Yes it sounds like they're rocking out." The worker said
What did that mean? There rocking out? Why would they rock out while an alien invasion is happening. Aren they supposed to try to end take over? I knew they werent good enough for this. None of them are. I must take them down still so we can find a better group.
"Get them!" I said to the worker.
Lets see who falls in my trap first.
