The echo was deafening as the hammer escaped from Ninas cold hands and onto her basement floor. She trudged over to the water heater with a look of mischief in her eyes, Whats wrong mommy? She asked with a smirk.
Say something, Nina demanded, here let me help you. With a dagger that was once in her leather boot and now in her hands, she sliced through the many layers of duct tape that was placed over Janets mouth.
Nina gazed at her blood-stained hands with pride. She let out a childlike giggle and said, Are you mad at me mommy? With wide eyes Nina crawled into Janets lap and began, Do you still love me mommy? Janets body shook with terror and disbelief, unable to process what she had just witnessed. Still tied to the water heater, Janet sobbed quietly until she couldnt contain it anymore. She jerked her body with all the forced she could muster, sending Nina a few feet away.
Nina stood up slowly and wiped the invisible dirt off of her dress, walking silently towards Janet. She grips her dagger tightly and whispers, You shouldnt have done that mommy
Janet braced herself and prepared for the pain of a knife grazing across her skin, but it never came. Peeling one eye open at a time, she saw her kidnapper, Nina, draped over the body she had previously struck with a hammer.
Get away from my daughter! Janet screams out.
Im your daughter now! Nina cried.
