Sam's POV

"Well we're here" Steve said.
The place looks nice I must admit. We walked into the store and there were two women at the counter one had blonde hair and the other had brown hair. They were both beautiful so I didn't know which one Bucky was talking about earlier.
"So what donuts do you guys want?" Tony asked.
"Umm I'll get a chocolate donut with sprinkles" Peter said.
Without asking everyone else, Tony went to get a dozen donuts of chocolate with sprinkles.
"Ok we have the donuts now let's go." Clint said.
"You do realize that's not why we came right? We came so my man Sam here can get a date." Bucky said while putting his arm on my shoulder.
"You think she'll be into you?" Natasha asked.
"Ouch." I said.
"Don't listen to her Sam. I'm sure she'll like you." Steve reassured me.
I walked up to the brown haired girl which was the one Bucky told me about.
"So do you believe in love at first sight - or should I walk by again?" I told her
She laughed which was good. I didn't want to come off as a jerk.
" So do you come here often?" I asked.
"Well I kind of work here." She laughed.
"What's your name?"
"Avery. And yours?"
"I'm Sam. And I was wondering if we could go out sometime. Only if you want to though." I asked shyly
"I would love to... except I'm not into you like that." She replied with sympathy
"Oh ok." I said
"It's not that I don't like you it's just I'm not attracted to men." She said.
It made feel better because that meant she didn't just completely blow me off.
"But hey my shift is almost done so maybe we could hang out as friends."
"Yea that's cool. You can come with me and friends over there." I said pointing to the group.
"Yea that's fine." She said, and for a second I thought I saw her eyes linger while looking at them.

Averys POV

Once I clocked out and said bye to my coworkers I headed towards Sam and his friends.
"Hey guys" I said cheerfully.
"Hey Avery. This is Steve, Bucky, Wanda, vision, Tony, Clint, Peter and Natasha." He said while pointing at each one of them.
Natasha is beautiful I must admit, so is Wanda but there's just something about Natasha.
"Hi everyone." I said.
"So what do you guys want to do?" Tony asked.
"Maybe we can go skating?" Peter suggested.
"Great idea kid." Tony told him.
"Umm I need to go home and get out of my work clothes first." I said shyly.
"Ok then we'll meet you there." Steve said.
I can go with you." Nat said, a bit too eager. "You know so you're not alone."
Clint looked suspiciously at Natasha for whatever reason.

Natasha's POV

We pulled up to her apartment and headed inside.
"The decorations are really pretty." I told Avery.
"Thanks." She said. "Umm you can wait here while I go change quickly."
I went to sit down on the couch while she went to go change. As I looked around I saw a bunch of pictures of her and her friends. It looked like she lived alone but I don't know. I saw a picture of her and her mom while she was wearing a cap and gown. I'm not sure if it was for high school or college. But I'm assuming high school since she looks very different compared to the picture.
"Ok I'm done." She announced.
We headed back to her car and drove in silence to the skating rink.
