Chapter 20

I stormed into my house exhausted from the days events. I knew that Tim was gonna be pleased with the news so I wasn't really worried about that,no, what I was worried about was actual breaking up with him.

The door slammed behind me and Tim looked up scowling, "were you with Carl?"

I resisted the strong urge to roll my eyes "nope,"

He perked up slightly "well that's new," he smiled "what happened, did he get hit by a truck or something," he looked hopeful

This time I did roll my eyes "no,we're done,"

That made him sit up "Like over? For real?"

I nodded,kicking off my shoes

He sighed "Oh Jesus Christ finally kid you got some sense knocked into you!"

I bit my lip,I had just ended a while ass relationship and all he gave a shit about was being right as usual. Fucking stuck up bitch.

I carried on upstairs making sure to slam my door shut.

Face planting on my bed I started to wonder how the hell was I gonna do this. Last time I checked Carl gets mad when I cancel on him let alone completely break up with him

I was just about to fall asleep when I heard my door creak open. I kept my eyes closed hoping whoever it was would just leave.

"Curly?"  Tim called out and I inwardly groaned

"Hmm?" I answered half asleep

"What did Carl do?"

I felt a cold feeling wash over me. There was no way I could just sell Carl out like that

"Whaddya mean?" My words slurred together

I stiffened when he sat on my bed, since when did he get so close?

"What made you end things now? Cuz' you sure as hell weren't going to a few days ago,"

I breathed In through my nose slowly and held it for a while. I then shrugged "dunno it just wasn't working out,"

He didn't say anything for a while and the silence was heavy.

"Curly?" I jumped when he puts his hand on my arm

"What now?" I groaned

"You would tell me if he did something right?"

For a few seconds I thought he could hear my heart beating in my panic.

"Curly?"

I let out a long breath "yeah course I would,"

"Alright," he didn't sound convinced

Finally he got up and left my room and Only then did I let out a sigh.
