Chapter 2- The party at the beach

Y/N heard a knock at her door the next day. "Coming!" She called. She opened the door to reveal Daniel standing there in a grey cutoff and jean shorts. "Hey Y/N. You ready?" He asked. "Yeah let's go." She replied. He held out his arm. "M'lady." He said in a fake posh voice. "Why thank you, kind sir." She replied in the same voice.

The two linked arms before walking down the stairs and out to the road where Freddie was waiting for them. They got in and Freddie stepped on the gas, speeding away. The car ride was fun with the three blasting music and joking around. They soon pulled up to the beach and got out, grabbing their things.

They walked onto the beach to see a bunch of high schoolers spread out along the sand. Y/N noticed a group of girls in bathing suits sitting off to the side chatting. A beautiful blonde girl looked up, her eyes meeting Y/N's. The girl smiled at her and waved. "Hey I'm gonna go talk to them but I'll catch you guys later," Y/N stated, walking away from the boys.

Y/N approached the group of girls and sat down next to the blonde. "Hi, I'm Ali with an I." She introduced, sticking out her hand. "Hello Ali with an I. I'm Y/N with a Y/I." Y/N replied, shaking her hand. Ali giggled. "This is Barbara and Susan," Ali said, pointing to the two girls next to her. The girls nodded their heads in response before going back to their conversation.

"So where are you from, Y/N?" Ali asked. "H/T. My mom decided to move here for a change of scenery." Y/N replied. As the two girls were chatting, Daniel and Freddie, who was playing soccer with some boys, ran past, kicking the ball. The group of boys stopped in front of the girls, fighting over the ball. Y/N and Ali watched them when Daniel looked up, his eyes locking with Ali's. The two stared at each other, making Y/N smirk.

The group of boys kicked the ball away, leaving Daniel standing alone, still staring at Ali. The ball came out of nowhere and landed in Ali's lap. She threw the ball to Daniel, who started juggling the ball with his knees, clearly showing off. The other girls left to go swimming, leaving Ali and Y/n to watch Daniel. One of the boys kicked the ball away from him and took off. "Want to go swimming?" Ali asked Y/N, a small smile on her lips as Daniel watched them. "Sure," Y/N replied.

"Bye," Daniel said awkwardly, waving at Ali. Ali smiled and waved back before walking to the ocean. Daniel watched after her in a dazed state. "You need to work on your flirting, LaRusso," Y/N teased, nudging Daniel. "Oh shut up." Daniel groaned, shoving her playfully. She gave a playful laugh before running after Ali to the ocean.

The sun had set and the sky was now an inky black. The two groups of teenagers were the only ones left on the beach with each one setting their own fires to keep warm. The girls were roasting marshmallows over the fire while Ali kept looking over at Daniel. "Go talk to him." Y/N urged, noticing her staring. "I don't know. What if he's a jerk?" Ali asked skeptically. "Trust me, he's not. He and I are neighbors and friends." Y/N reassured. Ali seemed to be considering it when suddenly a soccer ball landed next to Barbara. She rolled her eyes and tossed it to Ali.

"Go on," Y/N said encouragingly. Ali got up and walked over to Daniel, and the two started talking. Daniel was showing Ali how to juggle the soccer ball when the sound of motorcycles caught Y/N's attention. Ali, also hearing it kicked the ball far away from Daniel, making it run after it. "Who are they?" Y/N asked Susan as the group of boys drove closer. "Johnny Lawrence and his friends. Johnny is Ali's ex." Susan replied.

The leader of the group, whom Y/N assumed was Johnny Lawrence, pulled up to Ali and stopped his motorcycle. He pulled off his helmet and Y/N thought she was going to faint. He had blonde hair with a black piece of cloth tied around his head, pushing some of his hair back. He had bright blue eyes with a strong jawline, and he was wearing a red leather jacket paired with jeans. While Daniel may have been cute, Johnny was hot.
