CHAPTER FIVE
I quickly signed off chiefs computer and deleted his search bar and got out as fast as I could. Ok OK Ellen calm down calm down take a deep breath. "JT im going home ok, I'll see you later on" I said and walked out of the building before JT could stop me. I got into my crappy old car I couldn't be stuffed getting a new one and headed home. When I arrived home I saw a dark figure next door. I looked away then looked back. It was gone. "Ellen calm your shit, calm down, lets just ask this mannn about your mother and see if he knows anything" I said getting out of my car. I walked over to his house and knocked at the front door. "Vincent monk, are you in here, I just have a few questions to ask you" I said. I waited a little while. Still nothing. This is rude. I walked away. "Ellen martin enter" A voice said behind me. I turned and looked at the front door, it was open. I put my hand on my gun pouch ready to take my gun out if I needed it and entered the house. " Vincent Monk?" I questioned into the empty hallway. I looked around the front lounge. there was nothing, just old furniture with rags over them with dust pilled high on them. It looked like a horror film. I kept walking. "STOP!" A voice yelled at me. I stopped dead in my step and pulled my gun out. "put the gun down, it will do nothing to me" Vincent said behind me. his voice tickling me. "its a reaction that happens with the job, sorry" I said putting the gun back into its pocket next to my hip. " Finally nice to see you again Ellen" Vincent said with a smile on his face. I gulped "Lovely to meet you too, now I was wondering if I could ask you about my..." I was cut off by Vincent's hand covering my mouth. "If you ever say her name again I will slice your through!" Vincent said through his teeth. "She's my mother I need to know about her" I said removing his hand roughly. "well isn't that lucky for me cause you just happen to be my mate!"
Ok im sorry that I havnt uploaded in a while.. my computer crashed and then yeah they gave me a new one!!!! and also im on school holidays so its hard to write when your friends want to do stuff. Please comment and try and get this book out there I need more reads. Thanks beautifuls <3 xx
