Twenty-Three

A/N: I'm back with Draco Malfoy oneshots!

Draco Malfoy and his worst enemy were forced to be eachothers Yule ball dates. Neither of them were asked or did ask anyone in time so McGonagall paired them up in hopes the dance wouldn't end in flames between these twos, knowing their past history.

Y/N came walking down the stairs in a flowy pink dress glaring down at Draco who was at the bottom waiting for her. Draco stuck his tounge out at her and rolled his eyes, hooking their arms together and leading her into the hall "I can't believe i've been forced to go with you.." y/n groaned. Draco chuckled and shook his head "don't act like you don't find me a bit handsome tonight." he smirked.

She just giggled softly which made Draco raise an eyebrow "yeah right Malfoy, i'm surprised you didn't insult my dress yet." she sat down at a table and he sat next to her, a little closer than usual. y/n had to admit that she was really excited about Draco being her date.. i mean she has liked him since 1st year but he didn't need to know that. She had to act like she hated being there but she was actually enjoying it.

What she didn't know is that Draco felt the same.. he only ever bullied her to make it less obvious that he did like her. Tonight was his one and only chance to make a move or try to fix things between them, maybe both if the first worked. When a slow somg came on Draco stood up and stuck his hand out "dance?" he stuttered a bit to which y/n gave in and nodded "fine malfoy." she chuckled and took his hand.

Draco blushed a tiny bit and led her out to the dance floor, taking her waist and a hold of her other hand swaying smoothly across the ball room floor. The whole time y/n was dazed out not being able to believe that Draco Malfoy was dancing with her! "this can't be real.. this is all a dream.." she thought trying to hide the smile that formed across her lips. "is that a smile i see?" Draco teased and unconnected their hands to lift her head up.

Y/N bit her lip shyfully and shook her head know but Draco knew better than that. "oh my god! is y/n lupin actually enjoying this?!" he said a bit to loudly making the student body turn their heads at the two of them. It made her nervous but she kept swaying with Dracos body "maybe i am a little bit.." she admitted making Draco smile a tiny bit as well. "well i do have to admit i am as well.. don't tell McGonagall or Potter" he hissed making y/n laugh softly.

After the song was over he decided he needed to get her somewhere more private and quiet in order to confidently make a move. He nudged her on the shoulder "make a scene and lets get out of here.." was all he said before standing up. "I can't believe i was forced to come here with someone like you!" he stated loudly making the girl huff.

"I don't want to be here with you either!" she shouted and followed the blonde boy out of the ball room continuing to make a scene. "get away from
me you bloody git!" Draco shouted and signaled her to follow his direction. She rolled her eyes and ran after him secretly smiling.

When they got to somewhere more private away from students and proffesors they both let out a chuckle. "i can't believe we managed to get out of there." Draco said catching his breath and walking up to her. She nodded in agreement "why'd we come here anyway?" she asked curiously and cleared her throat. Draco didn't say anything he just got closer to the short girl infront of him, her breath hitched as she backed into the wall causing a low grunt to escape her lips.

Draco leaned down and placed a kiss on her lips catching y/n by surprise but she instantly relaxed against his lips and kissed back. The kiss lasted for quite awhile until they both pulled back for oxygen, Draco smiled and brought her back in for another kiss but this one was a bit quicker than the last. They can both say that the night ended in a lot of pleasure which they enjoyed. As for the students and professors they never found out until the next day when Draco Malfoy and y/n Lupin walked down the hall hand in hand smiling like idiots.
