The loud noise of Achy's body crashing against her car's windshield echoed all over the place. The man that she only knows as the School Director launched at her, which caught the dhampir off guard.
She sighed. "Damn it man! I love this car!"
The latter laughed maniacally and was about to attack her once more, but Achy raised her hand up telling the man to stop. "W—WAIT! DAMN IT! Dude! Where's your manners man? Let me at least get back on my feet, okay?"
He eventually stopped and gestured the dhampir to get up on her feet. Achy removed herself from the car and dusted herself off from the tiny shards of glass that was stuck on her coat.
"Ah— fuck." The dhampir murmured when the palm of her hand got cut by the sharp piece of glass.
The new vampire looked at her and then at her bleeding hand. He sniffed and his eyes closed at the sweet scent of the dhampir's blood.
"You smell quite different...but in a better way." He said with a huge grin on his face.
Achy rolled her eyes at the comment. "I didn't know that cold bloods like fifty percent hypocrite, fifty percent monster in their menu." She uttered.
The school director tilted his head to the side, puzzled at what the dhampir said.
"You're smart, figure it out yourself." She said and looked at her wounded hand.
She heaved a heavy sigh once more when she realized that she's wearing the silver ring that Jennie gave her. Should I remove this? I promised her that I won't remove this myself though. The dhampir thought. Thinking whether she should remove the accessory or not.
"Ah— fine. I won't remove this. I can handle this dude...you can do this, Achy. A first for me, but I'm definitely a senior compared to him in the vampire department. He's a rookie, I can handle him." The dhampir murmured.
She cracked her hand and neck, as if she's stretching for a game.
"Are you done limbering up?" The school director asked with his arms crossed over his chest as if he's waiting for her to finish what she's doing.
Achy nodded her head playfully. "Sorry, this is my first vampire encounter, so you know— I gotta be fully limbered up for this since I gotta gauge your strength." She said while chuckling like a kid.
"You are a very strange kid." He uttered.
The latter gave him a thumbs up. "Thanks, I get that a lot—"
She didn't expect the sudden attack of the vampire whose hand is now gripping her jaw tightly. She winced when she felt his strength, definitely nothing like she's ever felt before. She tried to remove his grip but the latter's speed surprised her.
He threw the dhampir like she is just a piece of paper. The dhampir's body collided with the lamp post, which fell down because of the strong impact.
"Oh man...you got some serious strength right there." The dhampir groaned, struggling to get up on her feet. "Fuck— I think I broke a rib." She murmured.
"Well...it looks like this is easier than looking for you, and trying to have you enrolled in our school." The vampire uttered, while walking slowly towards her.
He grabbed Achy by the neck and pulled her closer. He took one long sniff at the dhampir as if it's the most pleasant scent to him.
"Dude...you better stop doing that— ackk— it's making my skin crawl." The dhampir uttered with difficulty, but still managed to chuckle.
Without another word, he slammed the dhampir on the ground— creating a huge crack on the concrete.
"How does it feel to be the weaker specie?" He whispered.
