-Your POV-

"Brat, Oi."

You were staring at the window, lost in your own thought as you placed your chin on your hand. You and Levi were in his office. He was doing paperwork and you were lost in your own world.

I fucked up, haven't I..

I was planning on getting R/n soon but I didn't expect him to give up on me..

I should have rescued him sooner-

Levi snapped his fingers at you causing you to stop dozing off. You forced a small smile on your face. "Sorry.. What is it, Heichou?"

"Finally." He sighed before looking at your e/c-orbs, frowning slightly. "Alright, spill."

"Spill what?"

"What's bothering you, brat."

Hm? Heichou noticed.. I'm being too obvious..

"Nothing is bothering me, Heichou~ How cute of you-"

"Your teasing won't help you escape from this."

A small sigh escaped your lips. "It's really nothing, Heichou. I just... it's.. it's more of a problem I have deal with myself.. Don't worry too much, hm? I'm fine, really-"

"If you're fine then explain the long face your wearing." He sighed before softly pinching your nose. "You're clearly affected by it, you brat."

You let out a silent chuckle which came out more quieter than you expected. "Rude, Heichou.. are you saying my face is long?"

"I meant you look sad."

You stayed silent before slumping down on the table, burying your face on your palms. You sighed. "It's really nothing.. Heichou.."

I won't get you involves in the problems caused by me.

"Hey."

You didn't bother to look up.

"You know I'm here for you right?"

You hummed.

"I won't force you to say it if you don't want to but..." He paused for a while, you felt him play with your hair. "I'm always here for you, alright? Always remember that, you brat."

You looked at him, your face leaning down on your hand, tilted so you could look at him. A small smile formed on your lips. "I don't deserve you, Heichou.. you're too nice."

He kissed your forehead. "Idiot, being sad doesn't suit you. Go back to being my whiny-bratty boyfriend who's to childish you won't believe he's the former number 1 criminal."

You chuckled. "Mean.."

"Yeah yeah whatever you say, brat."

You looked around the hotel room. It was the room of were the victim jumped out the window and did suicide. Well.. that's what the Janitor said.

The family member of the victims were crying outside the room and left us detectives to investigate what happened.

You were walking around the room, careful to not ruin any evidences. K/n was in the kitchen inspecting, Levi was in the bedroom, and you are here in the living room with other detectives.

"I found a phone." Eren said as he raised a black Iphone using a glove. "Should we check inside?"

"Puppy, may I see?" You extended your hand out and the brunette obediently gave you the phone.

You opened it to see a locked screen.

Hmm of course..

You also saw some notifications from "Babe💞" saying that they were gonna come over in a few minutes.

The corpse was found at 10:00pm. "Babe" sent their message at 8:30 pm.

You typed the date last night as the password. You had a hunch that it was their anniversary last night.

It worked.

You checked the phone for some things that might be evidences. You only found some pictures so you gave the phone back to Eren.

"Housekeeper-san~!" You peeked out the room and looked at the Housekeeper. "Do you know the victim?"

"V/n-san was a bit of a messy person. He was a writer and often asked me to clean his room since he was always busy with work."

You heard some loud thumping outside the room. "Where's V/n..? Is he okay? I-Is he really dead-?" A female entered the room and there was visible tears on her eyes, she breathed heavily.  She was obviously in a rush to get here.

"I'm sorry, Ma'am.. but.. he is." Armin approached her and tried to calm her down.

"I-it can't be.. W-we were just together.. l-last night... No..." She sobbed as she crouched down on the floor. "How could this happen..?"

You approached the window where Housekeeper-san said he jumped from.. there was visible dust there and a foot print.

You walked towards the bathroom and saw a mop inside.

Hmm..

You grabbed a black light from Erwin and shined it on the living room.

You walked inside the bathroom and shined the black light there. You quirked a brow when you saw a little stain on the mop.

You smirked. "Bingo."
