14:Aftermath

-Your POV-

It's been a couple of minutes after the fight ended. Your former boss' lifeless body was gently laid down on the floor while you struggled to get up.

One hand on your side and the other on the wall, you grit your teeth, muttering a curse as you felt your side to sting.

This hurts! (┬┬﹏┬┬)

Your vision started to become blurry. You were swaying back and forth, desperately trying to keep yourself balanced.

You let out a small grunt after your legs gave up and ended up on the ground.

Well.. I guess I'll rest here for a bit..

-Levi's POV-

We arrived and I immediately ran inside. "Y/n!"

Kicking the door down, I frantically looked around.

Not here

K/n came running in and ran towards the near staircase. "His office is upstairs! Over here, Heichou!"

The other detectives followed.

There was a huge door in front of us and K/n immediately opened it.

My gaze immediately landed on a heavily-injured Y/n. He was covered with different wounds and bruises, his lips was bruised as blood dripped down from his nose and mouth.

"Y/N!!"

We ran towards him and he slowly looked at us with a weak smile. "I.. was.. waiting.."

I noticed his bleeding side. I immediately placed pressure on the wound. "Shit.. you're bleeding too much..."

"I'm fine..."

"Senpai, you idiot!" K/n crouched down beside me and checked Y/n for other wounds. "You say that you're fine but there's a literal knife on your side!"

He chuckled. "Ah.. is that.. so?"

"Stand up, let's get you treated." I mumbled and helped him stand up. I placed his arms on my shoulders to support his weight.

 Eren did the same on the other arm. "How reckless of you, Y/n."

"Puppy.."

"Ah.. I almost forgot.. "Y/n looked at K/n who was staring at the dead body in the room. "K/n..."

The h/c-haired male looked at him. "What is it, Senpai?"

"We're finally free."

-Erwin's POV-

I worriedly looked at the h/c-haired male who merely chuckled at me. "I'm back, Commander."

"Brat, stop wasting too much energy! You're bleeding to death!" Levi said with visible concern on his voice.

Suddenly, Y/n collapsed. All the detectives frantically ran to him. I immediately ran back to get the car started.

-Levi's POV-

All the detectives looked worried as they ran towards Y/n.

I lightly tapped his cheeks. "Y/N! STAY WITH ME! DON'T CLOSE YOUR EYES!"

"Hei.. chou.."

"SEE YOU'RE ALRIGHT? OKAY? WE'LL GET YOU BACK OKAY? STAY WITH ME."

His eyelids started to get heavy and I immediately panicked even more.

My heart was pounding against my chest as I desperately tried to keep the h/c-haired male awake.

 "Y/N!"

"Carry Y/n! We got the car started!" Hanji shouted before running back outside.

K/n immediately carried Y/n and gave me a small nod. "Let's go, Heichou."

I nodded back before we started running to get Y/n back to the agency to get him treated.

Hanji exited the room, she wiped the sweat off her forehead as she looked at us with a serious expression.

"He's in a coma.. he's in a critical condition because of the injuries he received.."

My breath hitched.

"There's.. only a small possibility.. that'll he'll make it.."

My heart shattered.

"But.. it's Y/n.. I'm sure he'll make it.." Hanji smiled gently, her bottom lips slightly quivered as she tried to stop her hand from shaking. "Let's all believe in him.. shall we..?"

I gulped. "C-Can.. I see him..?"

"He's still in a-"

"Please.."

Hanji looked at Erwin who only me a small nod.

I quickly walked inside the room to see Y/n peacefully lying down on the bed. A bunch of contraptions attached to his body.

I bit my lip to try to stop the tears from forming.

I sat down on the seat beside the bed. I held his hand and placed a soft kiss on it before leaning down on the bed. 

"Y/n.."

"You'll live right..?"

"You promised that you won't live me right..?"

"Please wake up.."

"Bother me like you always do. Whine like you always do. Cling to me like you always do."

I let out a small sob.

"I won't be mad anymore, hm? So please.." Tears flowed from my eyes as I leaned on his hand.

"Please wake up."
