8:Case solved

-Your POV-

It's not suicide then~

Damn.. this criminal sure cleans up nicely.. sadly they forgot to get rid of the mop.

Housekeeper-san it is then^^

You clapped your hands together. "The job is done then." From your peripheral view, you noticed something  stuck behind the small gap behind the cabinet.

You tried to get it out and had a hard time since it was really stuck inside. You might have missed it if you didn't squint your eyes and just think it's some dirt.

A few seconds of stugling later-

"Oh.. a bloody handkerchief." There was a name written on it, "V/l/n."

((V/l/n- Victim's lover's name))

....Eh..?

"Are there any security cameras outside?" You asked Levi who nodded and showed you the security footage.

8:35 pm, V/l/n arrived on the hotel room.

She left at around 9:00 and accidentally dropped her handkerchief unknowingly but she kept walking away.

At 9:05, Housekeeper-san entered the room carrying some cleaning equipment with them. At 10:00 they rushed outside the room to the hotel staff to explain that they found a dead body.

"Pftt- Damn.." You snickered causing Levi to raise a brow at you. 

"What?"

"Oh, nothing~!"

You walked outside the room and grabbed Housekeeper-san before dragging them  inside. "Housekeeper-san, why did it take you a while to  exit the room, hm?"

They looked at you. "You think I killed him?" They sighed. "It took a while before I found the body since the body is literally outside and I didn't look out the window, I was cleaning."

Hm.. true.. you won't just look out the window..

Good point..

"And he had his shoes removed so it's suicide." They explained before looking at you.

"Say, Housekeeper-san." You called their name and smiled at them.

"What is it?"

"Where do you keep your cleaning equipment?"

They  raised a brow at you. "In the Janitor's closet of course."

"So why is there a bloody mop in the bathroom, hm~? Also using V/l/n-san's handkerchief to frame her too~"

They looked at you wide-eyed.

"Hotel rooms don't have mops inside. Also, if you're cleaning up blood, do a better job next time, hm? Water and soap won't do shit." You chuckled.

They pushed you away before attempting to run away only to trip because of R/n.

"I searched the kitchen and you already solved it, Senpai."

"K/n.."

He handcuffed the housekeeper before handing him to Eren. "This is the killer."

"Eh? We were only here for 5 minutes! You solved it already?!"

"Y/n-senpai did."

All the detectives looked at you.

You shrugged. "Will you normally find a mop in a hotel room? Guys? Seriously?"

"Oh."

-Levi's POV-

Y/n whined at me saying that he was tired and didn't want to interview the perp.

"Brat, we investigated for like 5 minutes and you're tired already?"

"Heichouuu, pleasee?"

He used his puppy-eyes at me causing me to grunt.

"Ugh, fine."

"Yayyy!"

"Just behave."

"Okay!"

Things I do for this brat..

Well..

At least he's a bit better now.. he's not sad anymore..

Cracking my knuckles, I sat down on the seat across the perp and started to interview him.

"So it was driven by jealousy." I explained. "They said that their vision became blurry and when they got a hold of themselves, they already murdered the victim."

I crossed my legs and drank some black tea. "They apparently wanted to be with V/n and got mad at him for spending time with his girlfriend. That's what they told me... as stupid as it sounds."

"They used a knife. Cleaned up the blood using hydrogen peroxide, that's why there were no blood stains when we used the black light in the living room. Because they were distracted throwing the body out the window, they stupidly left the mop that was only cleaned with soap and water in the bathroom. They removed the shoes, made a footprint on the window and left it on the ground to make it seem like suicide."

I took another sip. "So in conclusion, this case is stupid. The perp was driven by jealousy towards his crush that was celebrating with his ACTUAL GIRLFRIEND and killed him. Also, you won't find any mops in hotel rooms so it's stupid."

Erwin sweat dropped at what I explained. "I see... at least you guys solved it.." He chuckled sheepishly. "Did you guys have fun..?"

"Commander... someone is literally dead.. how can we have fun..?" Armin asked while also sweat dropping.

Y/n raised his hand. "I had fun~"

I raised a brow at him.

"The way Housekeeper-san's face ran out of color as I explained to him." He chuckled before he ran his fingers through his hair and smiled devilishly. "The way he trembled as he looked at me.. It was amusing."

The whole room fell silent.

"Y/n.. would you want to visit a therapist-?" Erwin was cut off with Y/n smiling innocently at him.

"Perfectly fine, Commander~"

"Are you sure?"

"Yep!"

"O-ok then.."
