Chapter Twenty - Christina

Well folks this is the last chapter for Stripped. I hope you enjoy. 

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~A year has gone by and so much has changed. My father is in prison. My mother is doing amazing. I have 2 gorgeous children and a brilliant boyfriend. My sister Shaw is a lawyer in New York. Avery's gallery is flourishing amazingly. Lucia actually has a little boyfriend in Henry. JJ and I have become closer now too because of them. I go back to work soon and now that my mother is doing good she has offered to babysit and allow Spencer and I to get back in to the swing of things allowing us an hour to ourselves. Throughout this year we've changed a lot. But the thing that ruins it all is that my dad hasn't chosen to be part of our family. I arrested him a put him in prison in LA and after a while he heard of our achievements and ask to be transferred up state to where he wouldn't hear anything from the family that cast him out. Shaw told me about her first day at work and how she met some many amazing and one very sassy executive assistant who happens to work for the man she has a massive crush on. I read a lot about him and I really hope it works out maybe after a couple years of working there she'll end up like me or Avery whatever happens as long as she is happy.

Spencer and I decided to take the twins to go and visit granny D. Spencer's Mom loves the kids and Spencer loves how much she loves them. We arrived and signed in and headed to her room. I wasn't sure how our kids would turn out when they got older would they be like us, would they have a normal childhood not having to worry about being too smart for their own good. I hoped Diana had some advice for me, my want for them to have a normal life with much more than could be excepted for other families but with me being the only "Genius" in my family and Shaw being a lot like her co-worker Mike then Avery not being like us she doesn't mind not being able to read 20,000 words a minute or being able to pass Law school in a matter of months, she felt happy being related to people who could. These thoughts took over my mind until we got to Diana's room.

"Ahhh my gorgeous grandchildren are here again, with my gorgeous smart son and his beautiful smart fiancée" she said with an ear to ear grin plastered on her face. I could see Spencer feeling grateful that she was able to meet his children but his face shifted when his mother said fiancée. I was confused too but I never thought anything of it.

"Mother she's not my fiancée, just girlfriend" Spencer said picking DD out of the car seat and taking him to his mother. He seemed uneasy after her mix up.

"But you told me... Ahhh you're scared" Diana said taking DD and kissing his cheeks.

"Mom please.. I haven't" Spencer said taking a quick look at my face and looking away.

"Do it now then son" she persisted.

"Christina, I've had this for a while. Lucia actually picked it out. This is so stupid" he said fidgeting in his pockets.

"Spencer. Relax. Lucia picked it?" I asked smiling sweetly at my nervous man.

"Yeah, she's been pushing me for months to ask you but everything with helping Shaw and Avery move to New York, put it on hold. I don't want to get down on one knee to ask you this. I want to be standing as close as I possible can to you so I don't miss any of your micro expressions" I laughed. I didn't need him on one knee I needed him to ask me before I say yes without the question.

"Christina. Will you marry me?" he asked.

"Is 43 a prime number?" I said laughing. He knew the answer before he asked he just wanted a smart-ass answer.

"I love you Chris"

"I love you too"
