Just checking in. (Levi X Reader)

cleaning duty!

After I woke up and went to breakfast, we had been announced by Captain Levi that today was a day for cleaning. Everyone in the mess hall groaned at the thought of it. Levi then looked away and turned around in disapproval from our reactions. 

"I don't wanna cleaaaannnnnnn...." Sasha said, biting into her potato, whining away. 

"I have no energy, I'm still affected by what Keith ordered me to do.." 

"It's your fault for being a little stupid." Eren said. 

"I gave him some of my food, that's nice of me." Sasha then said. "I honestly deserved a reward." She added.

We all chuckled then continued on with our eating, not looking forward to the rest of the day. 

I wasn't that much experienced with cleaning, and I didn't want a lecture of some sort.

After we all finished eating, Captain Levi assigned us on duties. 

He walked around choosing us one by one, telling us our place to clean. 

"You", Levi said while pointing to Armin, "Horse Stables". 

To me that sounded like a pretty bad place to clean.. I mean, don't the horses shit everywhere?

He continued and finally got to me, "You", ..... I was pretty scared of what he was going to s- "Bathroom". 

Bathroom didn't sound as bad as horse stables but.. it's kind of the same. It's just that people know how to get rid of their faeces and urine. 

He handed me the broom with other cleaning supplies pretty roughly while  he had a few more to assign, but as we know it we're off to clean. I hadn't really memorised the place much but, I finally found the bathroom and opened it. 

It was gross, knowing that everyone did their business here. 

"surely I don't have to clean the toilet-' I thought to myself as I was cut off by Captain Levi again.

"No slacking, No getting distracted and No eating. Do not leave something uncleaned. Im already fed up with that with you brats."

"T-the toilet too, sir?" I asked him nervously.

"Are you stupid, Cadet?", "of course you clean the toilet." He answered and walked off.

You turn back to the toilet with the broom and cleaning supplies (sponges, a water bucket etc).

I begin washing the floor, hardly scrubbing with water and hoping this'll be over soon. It took mea while to finish with the floor but I eventually did. 

After I was done with the floor, I looked around the room and stood there, 'How on earth am I going to clean this whole thing' I thought to myself.  I immediately got unmotivated looking around with my already sweating body.

You hear a bang behind you and hear someone say ;

"Cadet".

You jumped at the noise and quickly turned around noticing it was Captain Levi. 

"Yes Captain?" 

"Are you slacking off?" He asked, leaning against the door frame staring coldly at you not looking satisfied at all.

"Of course I'm not!!!" I manage t accidentally raise my voice in annoyance. 

"Did you just raise your voice at your captain?" Levi said, rather angrily. 

"......No I didn't me-"

"You're going to go clean my office as soon as you're done here. It looks like you've barely even started." He said giving me my punishment.
