Rounds of applause resounded in the grandly decorated room, white and golden streamers hung from the walls. A chandelier was glinting in the ceiling, casting an endearing glow on the newly weds in the center of it all.
People from all around came to the wedding, friends, acquaintances, and families of the two. Everyone was dressed extravagantly, each of them putting effort to look decent on the the beloved day.
Everyone was happy.
Except for her.
A girl from one of the tables stood up, drawing the attention of the others. They all turned to the young lady, a stunning woman, her gorgeous appearance befitting of that a Shimizu's.
She plastered a smile on her face, trying to conceal her shaking hands, trying to keep the tears at bay. No matter. Even if she did cry, they'll just think that it was that of happiness for her sister.
She took the microphone handed to her, nodding at the host in thanks.

It wasn't as if she stopped loving him. No, not at all. You have to believe her when she says that she tried. Tried getting rid of her feelings for the sake of her sister's happiness.

That's why seeing him like this, his arms wrapped around her elder sister, smiling as if he won himself the whole world- it broke her. It broke her so, somuch.
She gulped down her nerves, lifting the corners of her mouth before opening them to speak.
"Nee-chan. Ryu-kun. Six years. You have loved her for six, straight years." she paused, taking note of how Tanaka blushed all the while clutching onto Kiyoko's hand.
"And in those years I have been a witness to your unwavering love and dedication to nee-chan. How it would take a storm to stop you. Maybe even more than that. After all, I was there when she kick you out of the house. And we both know how scary she gets when she's mad."
