War: the begining

In the distance, a thick black cloud rolled towards Ikebukaro. Izaya stood in the hallway with Katie.
"Izaya. I haven't been completely honest with you" she grabbed his hand and led him through the apartment and onto the balcony.
" Katie. What's wrong? Tell me." He pleaded
"The truth is. I'm not human" she said to Izaya as a puzzled look grew on his face.
"What do you mean. Your not human?" He asked.
She stood staring out at the thick clouds. She grabbed the little fence on the balcony. As she did, these huge black wings sprouted out from her back. Her eyes glowing red, she stared at Izaya.
He pulled her in close and wrapped his arms around her.
"It's okay" he said " none of us are normal anymore. I'm here for you. Always." He said

The apartment floor started to shake. The sound of helicopters in the distance was gradually getting closer. The people on the streets below were screaming and shouting. The helicopters gathered around the apartment and soldiers on the street crowded the door. Some black cars arrived through the mass of people and soldiers.
" Izaya Orihara and Shizuo Heiwajima. You are under arrest. Please remain calm as we send people up to get you" said the man covered in bandages.
" it's that stupid guy again. The one I threw a vending machine at" said Shizuo.

Celty managed to cover the broken balcony doors and windows with her power to stop the outsiders getting in.
"Mr Izaya and Mr Shizuo senpai. We have a breech in the elevator. Someone made it in the apartment block" said Sophie standing by the front door.
" these people are really starting to piss me off!" Exclaimed Shizuo
" I can dispose of them if you wish?" Said Sophie
" go ahead" said Izaya
Her arm started to glow and then transformed into a machine gun. She opened the front door and walked out. She stood by the elevator for a moment as it wirred to a stop. The doors opened.

Mikado, Masaomi and Anri stood in the elevator.
"Oh my god, who is that?" Said Anri hiding behind both Masaomi and Mikado.
" hello. We are here to see Celty." Said Mikado. Celty walked out of the apartment to where they all stood. Celty put her hand on Sophie's shoulders and shook her head. She walked back into the apartment and made a hand gesture to tell the others to follow her.

They all walked in.
"Hello everyone. We heard what was going on and we thought we would come help. We have a plan" said Masaomi "I will let Mikado explain"
" thanks Kida- San. I know a place for Izaya and Shizuo to go. However it's on the other side of town. At the old docking station." Said Milado
" but there's only one way out of this apartment block" said Izaya
" that's why I texted the dollars and told them to make a diversion. They are going to cause a fake riot in the centre of town. Hopefully most of the soldiers and police will go to the centre of town. However. Some will stay. Anri will cut the remaining soldiers with Saika, making them become on our side." Continued Mikado
" sounds like a good plan. Let's put it in to action." Said Shizuo
" Anri will need reinforcements to stop the soldiers from killing her. That girl out there could come in handy. And Celty, would you be able to fly over the town?" Asked Mikado
" I will do it." Said Katie
"But..." Hesitated Izaya
" I can do this. Trust me" said Katie hugging Izaya
" okay" said Izaya. They both kissed.
" does everyone know what to do?" Asked Mikado
" in that case, Izaya and Shizuo follow me and Masaomi"

Katie went out the Balcony with Anri. She grabbed her arms and they jumped. Katies wings erupted from her back. She settled Anri on the ground.
" good luck" said Anri
" you too" said Katie

Meanwhile the rest went out the front door of the apartment. Celty and Sophie going in the lift. Mikado, Masaomi, Izaya and Shizuo headed down the steps. On the way Mikado got out his phone.
"Mikado. This is no time to be sending a text to some sweet girl" said Masaomi
" as the leader of the Dollars I am the one who will start the riot" replied Mikado
He sent a text saying " members of the Dollars. We need help. I need you to cause a fake riot in the town centre."
Everyone's phone went off.

With Anri on the ground. Her eyes turned red. She walked up to one of the police officers. Saika ( the blade) emerged from her left arm and She swung her sword and struck him. He stood still and motionless. His eyes turned red. He grabbed the small dagger on his tool belt.
"Mother. What would you like me to do?" He asked with a sinister voice
" help get the others out of that building and escape" she replied
"Okay" he said
Anri continued to cut the officers and got them to follow her commands

The sound of gunshots could be heard on the otherside of the building. A line of soldiers were shooting at the windows of the top apartment. The others managed to reach the bottom of the stairs and ran through a corridor. Masaomi's phone made a buzz. He pulled out the phone and flipped it open.
" the coast is clear" he said
The others nodded and opened the fire exit door. The bright sunlight shone through into the darkness of the hallway.

There was a small road leading out onto the motorway. Celty stood next to her motorbike, and behind was a van in which Saburo Togusa was driving. Celty ushered them into the van. Masaomi got on the back of the bike as a distraction so that Saburo could drive the others to safety.

Celty got on her bike and drove of, pulling her Scythe from her shadows in preparation of any attacks that might occur. Saburo drove off in the other Direction. They suddenly stopped, and everyone in the van jolted forward.
" what's wrong?" Asked Izaya
" the damn bastards have blocked of all the roads leading out from here" replied Saburo
" SHIT! What are we going to do now?" Exclaimed Shizuo
" it's time" said Mikado pulling out his phone, frantically typing away.
