{{Carol's POV}}
We all watched Desi walk off into the woods. I knew she would be okay since our abilities were getting much stronger than they once were, plus I would know right away if something was up. We had this connection now that if the other was in danger, the other person on the receiving end would know instantly.
"Sammy, she'll be okay. We come back to you guys after every hunt don't we?" I walked up to Sam and gave him a hug. Over our time here, Sam has quickly become and older brother that I never had. His arms wrapped back around me. "She just needs to think right now. She'll be back within an hour."
"I know, I just want to make sure she's okay" Sam smiled down sheepishly at me as him, Dean, and myself started walking back into the bunker.
"And trust me Sam, I don't like that offer to her anymore than you. When I get strong enough I will get to land a few punches in. Sorry son of a bitch needs it." I said as we sat down in the library. Dean sat down before I did and placed me on his lap. As of lately, he had no issue showing his affection toward me.
"You act a lot like Dean and it's scary sometimes." Sam laughed as he looked at me and Dean but I guess he was right in some ways.
"Anyway, what else have we found out about removing that mark from Dean? Anything new?" I asked them both as I absently ran my fingers over the mark of Cain. Dean's grip around me tightened the slightest. I knew he wanted that damned thing off of him just as badly as I wanted to beat the daylights out of Lucifer.
"Nothing, just as it has been for awhile now." Dean said out irritated and annoyed.
"Hey, I promised you we'll get the mark off and I intend to keep that promise Dean. We'll figure out a way." I said to him as I turned to look at him in the eyes. The hardness that was set in his face moments ago softened as he looked into my eyes again once he nodded. Sometimes I felt like my manipulation worked on him, but I wasn't sure. "I'll be right back. I need to get something from my car."
Both Sam and Dean nodded. Dean was a bit reluctant to let me go but once I assured him I would be fine, he let me go. I don't know what it was that had me needing to go to my car but a feeling in the pit of my stomach told me I had to go.
When I reached my car I got stopped in my tracks. There leaning against my car was Gabriel. But something wasn't quite right about how he looked. Gabe didn't have that certain spark to him most times when I saw him.
"Cupcake... You came." He said as he looked up to me. Hell, his voice sounded different than it was those months ago. I could feel my heart strings pulling in my chest. At this point I couldn't tell if I was angry to see him or happy.
"What the hell are you doing here?!" I decided to keep up this charade of being angry with him up. I could see him frown at the tone of my voice.
"I just wanted to see you Cupcake. I wanted to fix things and explain everything to you. Please?" This was the first time and probably the only time in my life where I would see and archangel near begging and breaking point. Gabe looked completely lost.
"Ugh, fine! But not right here. Come on." I marched over to him and grabbed his hand into mine and began marching into the woods. When our hands touched I felt a current surge through my hand and spread to every inch of my body. That never happened with Dean. Once we reached far enough into the woods, I dropped his hand (although I didn't want to) and crossed my arms in front of me. "Okay, we're here. Now, talk." I was using my manipulation now.
Before Gabe said anything he walked closer to me until he was right in front of me. His whiskey eyes began searching my dark browns before his arms wound their way around my frame. "Geez Cupcake, I missed you." He spoke softly.
