The Hunter Games

~Desi's POV~
As I'm beginning to wake up I notice a very odd smell. I think to myself is that dust? There's no way it could be dust, I just dusted my room two days ago. I slowly start opening my eyes, something doesn't feel right to me. I quickly notice I was no longer in my room, it looks like I'm in a motel. I quietly mutter "what the hell is going on here."
I slowly got out of the creaking bed. The floor was cold, the walls striped,
there was a tv and a laptop on a dresser. I start to shake I'm a tad scared because, I don't know where I am. I slowly walk to the laptop that appears to possibly be mine when I feel a hand on my shoulder. "I swear on my life, whoever you are, you better take your hand off of me because you will not like the end result". Although I'm only five feet tall I had threats like no other. "Dude chill it's just me" the sound of my sisters voice was such a relief.
"What's happening? Why are we here? Did you figure anything out?" I tend to ask a lot of questions when I'm confused. "I don't know what's going on either I was waiting for you to wake up so we can find out, our cars are in the parking lot we have our phones, and laptops so honestly it can't be all bad right?" Well she did have a point there but I was still freaked none the less.
"Are we even in California anymore?" I asked diligently.
"I don't think so....it doesn't feel like we're in California".
"Well shit, we need to get to the bottom of this, how about we go to the lobby and ask the clerk or something."
We looked in the drawer and found a little bit of clothes. Shrugged them on, made our hair look presentable, and walked out the door to find out where we are. The next step after is to find out why we're here and more than anything, how in the hell we got here, wherever 'here' is.

Wow it felt good to write again. Sorry I may be a little rusty it's been a while. I hope you guys enjoyed this short second chapter. I look forward to continuing the story.
