I fell to the ground. "Ugh.. where am I?" I stood up and saw I was in an alleyway. What the hell? I was by myself. I looked up and saw the blue light disappear. I looked around and didn't see anyone. I still didn't know where I was but I decided to walk down the street. I saw a newspaper and decided to read it. 1961? Well shit. I put the newspaper down and kept walking. A guy came up to me. "I like you're jacket." He said. "Oh. Thank you." I smiled at him. That's right they don't have these jackets in the 60's. "I'm Aidan. Nice to meet you." He said putting his hand out. "Y/n." I shook his hand. "Nice to meet you too."
~Skip ahead 2 years later.~
Me and Aidan have been dating for 2 years now. Of course I thought about Diego and the others. All the time, but I have no idea where they are. Or when they are to be exact. I decided I was going to go get coffee so I grabbed my jacket and left to get coffee. Aidan was at work so it's a perfect time to go. I was walking down the street when I heard someone that sounded familiar call my name. I turned around and saw... Five?! Holy shit. "Five?!" I called to him. "Oh my god y/n, finally I found one of you." He said. I smacked him in the arm. "You didn't tell us we were going to be in a whole different year Five!" He scoffed. "I've never done it before! How was I supposed to know?" I rolled my eyes. He continued. "Anyways, The apocalypse. We didn't stop it. It happens in 10 days. It followed us here." I let out a very annoyed sigh. "What the hell... Just as I was living a normal life with my boyfr-" Five cut me off. "Diego?" "What? No. I have no idea where he is." I answered him. "Oh. Well I do. Take my hand." I grabbed his hand and we blinked to the same alleyway I teleported in 2 years ago. I let go of his hand and followed him inside.
He opened the door of this apartment. "Elliot, this is my friend y/n. She is also from 2019." Five introduced me to the man in the apartment. "Nice to meet you." He nodded then looked back at his computer. I looked around then Five called me. "y/n. Come look at this." I walked over to him and saw Diego, Luther, Allison, me, Five, and Vanya all in different photos in the same alleyway. "Now look at this." He picked up a newspaper with Diego in it saying that he got arrested for talking about the assassination JFK. I sighed. "Damn it Diego." "That's not it. I went to the police station and found out the sent him to a mental hospital." he said. I shook my head in disappointment. "Do you want to come with me to see him?" He asked me. I looked at him. "No shit Five." I answered back. He stood up and got some coffee and my phone rang. It was Aidan. I answered it. "Hey babe!" "Hey! So I'm gonna a bit late tonight okay? I'm really trying to get this sale." Aidan told me. He doesn't stay out late mostly at all so I'm always okay with it when he does. "Yeah that's fine! I'll see you when you get home. Love you." "Love you too. Bye." He hung up. FIve looked at me. "You ready?" I nodded.
When we got there they said only one person at a time so I waited outside. Five came back out and I was going to go in when Five stopped me. "I might've told the guards about Diego's plan to escape." "Wha- Five!" I yelled at him. "What? He keeps saying he's gonna save the president. That's is going to ruin the whole thing!" I sighed. "Fine. Anything else you need from me, man-child?" I asked. He have me a huge death stare and I just smiled. He groaned. "No. Nothing else. You may go. I'll update you on Diego." I nodded. "Alright see ya!" He ignored me and walked away. I walked home. I feel like the 60's has grown on me. So has Aidan if I'm being honest.
Aidan didn't come home until early in the morning. I wasn't up yet. I woke up and Aidan was sleeping next to me. I got up and got dressed then when out in the kitchen to make breakfast. My phone rang so I answered it. "Hello?" "Hey y/n. I got more information on Diego. You need to get here now." It was Five. "Five I don't even know where it is." I told him. He sighed. "Alright. What's your address?" I knew he was going to blink here. I told him and he appeared before I could even finish telling him the address. He appeared next to my coffee pot making coffee. Then he blinked to my table and sat down. "Nice house." He said taking a sip of his coffee. "Thanks. Tell me about Diego." I replied. He opened his mouth to talk then we both heard Aidan wake up. Five looked at the bedroom door then back at me. I sat down and looked at the table fidgeting with my necklace I had on. Aidan got me it for our 1 year anniversary.
He walked out dressed in a suit. He told me he had a meeting today. "Hey babe have you seen my-" He stopped and looked at Five. "Who's this?" Before I could answer him Five said. "I'm her brother. Nice to meet you." "Oh. You never told me you had a brother." He looked at me. I nodded. "Yeah. I don't talk much with my family." "Hm. Anyways, have you seen my tie?" He asked. I pointed at the chair next to Five. It was hung up there. "Oh! Alright." He put on his tie. He came over to me and kissed me. "Well, I'll see you after work. I love you. And nice to meet you..." "Five. Nice to meet you too." Five answered. He nodded then left for work. "Five looked at the door for a second after he left then back at me. "Well he seemed nice." I laughed. "Shut up." He smiled. "Anyways, Diego escaped." My eyes widened. "He what?" "He escaped. And you are gonna help me find him." He said taking another sip of his coffee. I sighed. "Alright, fine. Let's go." Five put his coffee on the table, smiled, then grabbed my arm. "Let's go." then we blinked to the street.
"ALright. Tell me if you see him anywhere." He said. I nodded and looked around as we walked. It took me a minute then I saw him and this girl in a car. "Five." I tapped his shoulder then pointed at the car. "There." Five grinned and heard what they were talking about. We blind into the car. "Because he's an idiot." Five said when we got in the car. Diego and the girl looked at us. I sighed. "Jesus Christ Five i'm gonna get sick if you keep blinking me everywhere." Diego looked at me. I waved at him then looked at Five and the girl. "Who the hell are you?" "Hi. I'm his loving brother." Five smiled. "Who left me to rot in the nuthouse." Diego looked at Five. "To protect you from yourself." "That's quite sweet." The girl said. Diego looked at Five then the girl. "Okay, both of you, out." Five leaned forward. "Lose the crazy lady and come with us. We have important business." Diego looked out the windshield. "I am not going anywhere with you." Five looked out the window. "Okay, fine." he scooted over to the window. "Officer!" "Hey!" Diego grabbed Five. "What are you doing?" "I hear there's a reward out for you two." "He's bluffing." The girl said. Five slightly squinted his eyes, still smiling. "He's not." Diego said sitting back down. "Fine. I'll go with you." "What about me?" The girl asked. They looked at her then looked back at each other. "And I'm bringing the crazy lady." Diego said. The girl smiled. I wonder if they have something going on. I mean not that I care or anything. I'm just asking.
