Chapter 10

Diego was doing something to their car while me and Klaus waited. Me and Klaus were in the car because Diego told us to stay in the car. He came back into the car. We looked up and saw the two of them looking out the window. They obviously saw Diego. "Bingo." "You do know that killing these people aren't gonna make you feel any better." "Yeah, but when it's done. I'm gonna sleep like a baby." Klaus nodded. "Sure you will." The guy walked out. "Stay in the car." "What are you talking about? This guy tortured me." "I have a plan." He got out of the car and walked away. I looked at Klaus. "Please don't tell me we are going to let him go by himself." "No. But let's wait a second. Make him feel all hero."

A few minutes passed. I looked at Klaus. "Now?" He nodded. "Now. We went up the stairs. We walked up right behind Diego. Klaus spoke. "So what exactly is the plan here big guy?" "I told you to wait in the car." He looked behind Klaus and saw me then sighed. "Yeah but you also told me that licking a nine-volt battery would give me pubes." "We were 8." Klaus shrugged. Klaus started walking up but Diego grabbed him. "Uh-uh, uh-uh." He turned Klaus around and started walking towards me which made me start walking down the stairs backwards. "For once in your life I need you to listen to me okay? Go back to the car." I tripped at the end of the set of stairs we were on because I thought there were more stairs but Diego grabbed me before I fell and continued talking. "If I don't come out that means I'm probably dead. That happens go get help. Okay?" Klaus sighed. "Yeah okay, okay, okay." Diego walked back up the stairs then looked back and saw we were still standing there the pointed to the car. "Okay." Klaus started walking away but I grabbed him. "We can't leave him" Without hesitation Klaus shrugged. "Alright." We walked back up the stairs. We got to the top of the stairs and Diego got shot. Dumbass. Klaus grabbed him and pulled him out of the way before he got killed. "Oh man, see? you used to think I was an idiot." "I still think you're an idiot. They're getting away." He turned around and walked downstairs. "You're welcome."

We got down to the parking lot and saw the tires were popped. "Shit." "Was this all part of your master plan?" "Shut up." We decided to drive the ice cream truck. Klaus drove and Diego was in the passenger seat. I had to stand. I was fine with that. We got the place and saw Five, Luther, and the other two. Klaus waved as he drove by Luther and Five. "Go faster!" They started shooting at the car and I ducked down. I got down and Diego threw his knife and both of them jumped and fell.

(So we are going to obviously skip the talk between Five and The Handler and just get to the part after.)

I was on the ground because I fell when Klaus crashed into their car. I stood up and saw that Five...disappeared? Luther threw the briefcase and I got out of the truck. "I think I'm gonna puke but I don't know yet.." Klaus helped Diego out of the truck as we ran to Luther. I got in the passenger seat while Luther shoved Diego and Klaus in the backseat. Klaus was flipping them off as I looked behind me.

~At The House~

I was sitting on the couch. Luther came back with Klaus and I stood up. "Hi question." I raised my hand. "Yes y/n?" Luther asked. "So this is a family meeting right?" He nodded. "Alright let me say that again a FAMILY meeting. Do you all want me to leave or?" Luther shook his head. "No. Technically you are part of the family now just without powers. Like Vanya." "Oh. Alright." I sat back down. Not me tearing up cause I feel accepted. Allison gave us all some coffee and Klaus sat on the floor in front of the couch I was on. "Three days?" "That's what Five said." "The old bastard did mention the apocalypse, come to think of it. He just left about part about how soon." Allison leaned against the counter. "But can we trust him? I don't know if you've noticed, but Five's a little." she whistled. Klaus laughed. "Our little psycho." Luther put his coffee down. "He was pretty convincing. If he wasn't trying to stop an apocalypse, those lunatics wouldn't be chasing him." "That's why they were after him?" "Yeah." Allison took a sip of her coffee. "What did Five even see?" Luther looked at Allison. "Uh...apparently, We all fought together against who was ever responsible." He looked at everyone then clicked his tongue. "Okay. So here's the plan. Uh we go through dads research-" Allison cut him off. "Wait what?" "Hold on, hold on." "Wait a tick, wait a tick, wait a tick. What actually happened the first time around?" "Yeah what are you not telling us?" I rolled my eyes. "Tell them Luther." Diego looked at me then back at Luther. "Come on big boy, spit it out." Luther mumbled something then took a sip of his coffee. "What was that?" He coughed. "Uh I said we died." I threw my hands in the air. "There we go!" Then I took a sip of my coffee. They all looked at each other then an umbrella fell of the hook and Klaus screamed.
