Wilbur lay awake, staring into the dark abyss. He never could manage to sleep much these days. He sighed, before checking his clock. 3am. He put his head in his hands, before removing the velvet duvet and standing up to go make some toast.

The cold floor on his feet contrasted to the warm temperature of his forehead. He thought that maybe he was getting sick, he wouldn't doubt it due to the lack of sleep. As the toast popped out the toaster, he heard the kitchen door creak.

There stood a very tall, yet lonely looking Tommy. He was fiddling with the grey drawstring of his sweater, dark eyebags popping out his face. He yawned, before mumbling a very tired hello.

"Toms? Why are you awake so late?" Wilbur looked concerned for the boy.

"I could ask the same of you" Tommy snorted, "Just struggling to sleep these days, yknow.." the boy was acting more vulnerable than usual, which concerned Wilbur.

"Are you feeling okay? You wanna talk about anything?

"Nah its fine...", Tommy replied. Silence fell upon the pair as Wilbur spread golden butter over his toast. It wasn't an uncomfortable silence, they just enjoyed being in each others presence. It was rare of Wilbur to see such a calm and collected side of Tommy, as  the boy was quite literally always bouncing off the walls.

Wilbur finished his toast, as the younger spoke up, "Hey Will?"

"Yeah Toms?"

"Could you.. Could you sing me one of your songs?", the younger asked, still fiddling with his sweater. Wilbur smiled softly, internally awwing at the boys request.

"Sure thing, Toms. Cmon, lets go to my room", the two brothers walked up the stairs, into Wils room and he pulled out his guitar, strumming a few of the strings, "what would you like me to play?"

Tommy thought for a while. He didn't particularly want an upbeat song, he was quite sleepy. "Since I saw Vienna", the boy answered. Wil nodded, before strumming the first few notes.

Sweet music filled the air, his angelic voice like a melody. As he played, he didn't notice Techno coming to watch in the doorway. His twin smiled, proud of both of his siblings. He never showed how much he loved them, but he's sure they knew it was a whole damn lot.

The song came to a close, and Wil was met with a sleeping Tommy on his bed, wrapped around in his blanket. Wilbur smiled, before getting in the other side and turning off his light, sighing with content. Techno went back to his room to farm potatoes, his smile growing bigger by the second.

His brothers meant the world to him.
