It was the middle of the night when the lights in our room flicked on, a bunch of doctors rushed into the room and grabbed Bakugo, shoving him to the ground before muzzling him and cuffing his hands behind his back. I could see the pain and confusion on his face while he was manhandled by the men in white coats who probably broke at least one bone in his body because of how frail he was at this point.

I didn't even try to fight against them to undo his restraints and keep him with me, my body also failing me now more than ever. I guess Bakugo was right about needing to drink blood instead of just having the drip bags. We- or at least he would probably be better off right now if I had just let him drink from me although I still refused him every time he suggested it. I had never regretted something more than at that moment. I knew that he'd be able to fight back, or at least be in less pain, if I had just let him have a little bit.

Soon he was removed from the room and I could hear his screams coming from the room across the hall as he called out my name, crying and begging the doctors to let him go back to me, this was the first time I had seen or heard him cry and saldy after that night it wouldn't be the last. I couldn't stand to listen to him anymore so I just covered my ears and cried, tear after tear cascading down my face as I tried desperately to keep myself from sobbing loudly enough for him to hear because I knew that would just make him feel even worse.

As I cried all of the energy that I had left in my body started to drain and my eyes began to flutter shut. I tried to stay awake incase they brought Bakugo back but a part of me knew that that was never going to happen.
